Q: Anyone use these with a fountain pen? The Tops Reporters pads absorb ink like a sponge, so their not useful.

These Notebooks have been used by professional reporters for many, many years. They go back to the days of pencils and early ballpoint pens. I use mine to keep my different Genealogy family notes separated. I have used pencil, ballpoint and uniball without any bleed through.

Q: also have the question is this "narrow" ruled (college ruled) or regular (wide) spacing? I am looking for the narrow ruled. thanks.

I looked on the cover of the notebook and it said, "Gregg ruled". This appears to be between college and wide spacing.

Sorry, I can’t confirm this….however, I really like the quality, convenience and durability of these note pads!
