Sissy Bar Short Passenger Backrest for Harley Sportster XL 883 1200 2004-2017

Lined up well, easy to install. Great look. My whole idea getting this was to be able to strap a camp bag to the back of the bike, and this is JUST big enough to allow that. The cross-member is the saving grace, and gives the reassurance you need to strap a larger back up to it, and feel comfortable that it won't go for a tumble down the road. When not being used that way, it just looks great. Added a sort of raked-out styling to my bike that I loved. Sat low and sporty, and looked like it belonged on a sporty. So it fit the bill just fine

This is a prime example of you get what you paid for, and you certainly get less quality. The sissy bar I received wouldn’t even fit because it was misaligned more than 10mm on the front right and rear left mounting points. There was no way it was going to be installed without modifications, cut and wielding. As you could imagine the the sissy bar itself was bent and it looked terrible. I was so disappointed that I even considered purchasing this product, I just trashed it and called it a loss.

I have a 2013 HD Sportster that I bought this for. It arrived with a small defect in the paint any they were quick to respond about the issue. Upon install I found that the hardware provided is the wrong size and gets very close to rubbing on the sidewall of the rear tire. And the hardware is a different thead than the HD stuff so you are expected to not use ant on the ORM parts with this but the rear bolt has a custom bracket inside the fender that holds a rear support so thier but and bolt isn't a good supstatute. Additionally I choose to install small rubber washing between the sissy bar and the bike, something they should include as to not stratch and damage the paint. And lastly the was welded out of square so it requires some additional force to get it on and to tighten it down and all the more reason for rubber washers to protect the paint during install. On the plus side I love and size and look and the flat black finish look great on the 883 iron and the idea of installing over the existing parts should make it easy and bit they do give it a good finished look with the hardware somewhat hidden in the end

Shipped super fast it’s not an exact fit. You’ll need to instal one side at time and slightly bend (fiddle around with it) to fit. Finish is nice was packed with care no nicks or anything on the paint.

I had to mill out the holes to get the bolts to fit to be able to install it on my bike because the whole bracket was backwards

Great low cost sissy bar. Just like all other Amazon products the hardware is total junk. Replace all of the nuts, bolts and washers with better quality hardware. Since the bar is installed on a harley change the harware from metric to inch sizes too.

Was really excited about this for my sporty but the bar came scuffed and scratched unfortunately when opened from the box.

Fit sur un Forthy eight 48 2022 sans problème!!! Certaines soudures laissent à désirer mais c'est bien pour le prix!!!
