Is the swix wax kit PFC fluorocarbon free?

I bought this kit in 2012 and it certainly wasn't Fluoro free then. Swix does make fluoro free waxes now, as do a number of other manufacturers. I would look for them to indicate specifically that they are fluoro free. Good that you are aware of this. Fluoro has been banned by cross-country skiing organizations as it does not degrade and is left on the race courses and trails long after the snow has melted.

I have wood cross country skis from the 70's. Can it be used on them?

Definitely cover the spectrum with this kit. Learn how to wax though. Especially when one has wood skis. Sealing the base before waxing is paramount.
