Brilliant so far. I have a home office garden building, and the timber door has never shut properly at the top - there's always been a gap. Installing this cured that problem. Door now shuts squarely with a satisfying clunk of the magnet activating. Very pleased. Easy to install, and to adjust backwards or forwards. Screws are short but good so far. Strong magnets - I could hardly remove the plate from the magnet in the packaging, but that means a good strong clasp, and that's what I wanted. I think it looks neat in black too.

Bought to stop two big cloakroom doors swinging open constantly replacing cheap less powerful magnets. Easy to fit with screws but also supplied with double sided tape if that’s better for you. Enough strength to secure the 8’ high doors but easy enough to open with a decent handle.

Very happy with these magnets, which I used on double internal kitchen doors. Very strong and sturdy.

Have been constantly battling with our cat getting into the wardrobe and clawing at clothes. Had tried other door catches but they are awkward or unsightly. Decided to try the magnet catch solution again as I had tried before but the cat easily pulled the door open from below. This has finally beaten him!!!! Yeeeees! My wardrobe doors are 50cm x 200cm each and fitted the magnets 20cm from the floor to prevent too much bending at the hinges when opening. I didn’t put them in the middle as I didn’t want the cat constantly trying as the door can still flex when being pulled and he is smart and never gives up. When opening you can definitely tell how strong the magnets are. Not to much where you might think the door is stuck or you will break the door. Definitely recommended and not just to prevent cats

These are great door magnets, which are easy to fit and have a well made, solid design. Be aware though, the magnets have a monstrous pull on them! 40kg pull is a lot and will be too much for your average cabinet door etc, just so you’re aware.

Buy a stronger one than you can think. With quite a large door to secure I bought the strongest. It's very hard to remove the plate from the magnet when it's loose in your hand, but, not so hard once it's all attached and you have the leverage of the door. I think a weaker unit would have struggled to hold this door shut. The red tape (a) wasn't red but clear, which hardly matters (b) was sticky, but, not as sticky as the magnet is strong, so instead of the plate sticking to the door ready for me to add screws as shown in the guide, it peeled back off the door and stuck to the magnet, leaving me no further along. It would've been better to provide something which leaves a mark on the door showing where the plate aligns.
