Dorman 13732 Keyless Entry Remote 4 Button Compatible with Select Models (OE FIX)

Worked Great on a 2011 Chevy Malibu and easy to program - IMPORTANT - you need at least one functional remote in order to program other remotes. Bought a used car with only one remote that was beat up and inconsistent. Was able to improve its function by cleaning the contacts inside and it was enough so that I could use the Dorman unit to program it's included remote and two other aftermarket remotes. Threw the original remote in the trash and I now have three remotes.

My newly purchased Sky remote didn't work. I saw this solution on a you tube video. Reviews seemed mixed. However following the youtube instructions I had no problem re-programming the factory remote and programming the included remote. Must have if you have one of these year's of GM cars that may require a trip to the dealer to program.

Don't know why GM made vehicles from 2007 -2012 so hard to replace the key fob! Later years don't require a locksmith. However, this product from Dorman makes the process of programming the fob easy (carefully follow directions - you only have a limited number of attempts.) Worked great for my 2010 Chev Malibu.

I had only one of the original keys and key fobs, and that key fob was in bad shape. Faced with the prospect of paying a huge sum to a dealer to program new fobs, I decided to take a chance on this item. It came with the programmer and one key fob. I purchased another separate key fob from a different seller. Fortunately, the original fob functioned well enough to allow me to successfully program the two new fobs (NOTE: you need to have a functioning fob to be able to program other fobs. Otherwise, you will need to go to a dealer or a locksmith). Additionally, the programmer will allow only three sessions where the programming is successful - you can't use it an unlimited number of times. Still, it is cheaper than going to a dealer or to a locksmith.

Did not properly work for a 2006 Solstice as indicated. I would not rebuy this and it was a massive waste of my time.

Good quality product. Good customer service.

Was able to make a new key fob for a 2008 Saturn. Saved money over going to the dealership or a locksmith. Now just need keys.
