I have used this product to alleviate menstrual cramps and other cramps/aches I get from time to time. I had a friend who was having extremely painful cramping in strange parts of his body which pain relievers did not help. He took a few of things and the pain was gone. The same thing happens for me. You usually have to take at least 4 capsules at once to relieve cramping, and you can definitely take more. If I was having very painful cramping I would just start with 8 capsules and then continue to increase the dose until your pain is alleviated. It shouldn’t take too long, my cramps usually go away within 30 minutes. This is helpful for people whose pain isn’t helped with painkillers, or are trying to avoid or reduce their use of painkillers. The reason I tried it in the first place is that I had this digestive issue where I was afraid to take OTC painkillers for cramps because i thought they would hurt my stomach or intestines, so I tried this, and it actually worked! I didn’t really think it would bc normally “natural” things like this have ZERO effect on me. I definitely would advise to take more than you think you would- the dose of magnesium per pill is quite small, and you can’t really overdose on magnesium. This type of magnesium won’t give you diarrhea either, which other forms can (magnesium citrate is good for this, if you tend to be constipated). But this form usually doesn’t have that effect on the bowels, so you can take a large dose and not worry about that.

Have taken the magnesium for a long time and it definitely seems to help with sleep. Will continue using. So far, very satisfied.

I’ve used this brand since about 2015. I just ordered 2 bottles April 2024. The capsules are smaller and it’s not working as well. They’ve changed the formula in some way. Also, I wish I had an old bottle to see but these new ones have L-Leucine in them under other ingredients. Maybe that’s the change? Idk. Prior to this newest order they would have gotten 5 stars from me. I don’t want to change brands but these are not working like they used to. I take 3 of these at bedtime. I even tried taking 4. I’ve bought through my pharmacy for 9 years. Ordered from Amazon and they’re different.

Helps with sleeping well, and helps to keep you regular.

I have been using this product for quite a while. It is absorbed better and keeps my blood levels at the low end of normal. I had a kidney transplant and my new kidney filters out Mg at a high rate. This product is better than others I have tried.

I take this every night for better sleep, and to relax my muscles as I have fibromyalgia. This brand works really well, and I've been using it for about a year now. I will continue to purchase as it works for me.
