Better value than a Roomba.
We have been using for about 2 months, runs a couple times a week. Very pleased without purchase. Even when the floor looks clean it picks up a good amount of dust, hair, etc. This is a really good product if you own pets. The brush roller works well on hard floors and rugs. I would not recommend this if you will primarily use it on carpet. There appears to be some IR sensors on the front, and I will slow down before bumping into walls if the room is well light and the surafe is somewhat reflective like a painted surface or furniture leg. I expect this feature will extend the life of the vacuum. It is random navigation but covers pretty well and will follow edges of the room if it detects one. Battery life is great, runs for about 2 hours before returning home. Only one time it didn't find the dock before running out of battery. The filter works well and traps very fine dust, not sure if it's HEPA but works well regardless. Cons: Long human hair does get tangled in the spinning brushes and roller, however it's easy to clean and they provide a tool for cutting it out quickly. The dust bin is somewhat hard to open and has sharp corners than make emptying the dust bin uncomfortable. The dust bin needs emptied every time you run it, multiple times if the area is really dirty. I don't expect it to last as long as a Roomba. The brush roller does not soon as freely as it did new. It's only about $12 to replace though. You can buy 3 of these for 1 Roomba. I think it's a better value overall. Would recommend, would buy from Amarey again.

Better than my Eufy, half the cost
So, my Eufy 15C bit the dust and I needed a replacement. Not to bore you with the details, but my dog-sitter was in a rush one morning while we were on vacation, and my two year old bloodhound pooped in the house (only the second time ever, and the first was the night she came home with us at 12 weeks). You can imagine the rest of the story... but to the Eufy's credit, it still worked and even docked itself covered in poop. Cleaning it off is was what did it in, as I got a bit generous with the bleach spray. I really didn't want to spend the loot on another Eufy, even though I was happy with its performance. When I bought my Eufy I was adamant about having a WIFI controllable unit, but after owning it a year, it was mostly a useless feature for my needs. After searching for a cheaper alternative, I came across this one and a review vid sold me. After opening the box, I realized it looked exactly like my Eufy. The only notable difference is the dust bin opens on the side, rather than the top. After a few hours of charging, I gave it a test run and I was blown away by its performance. The Eufy would sometimes blow dog hair away rather than pick it up, this unit sucks it all in. For some reason, dog hair doesn't clog the roller on this unit, unlike the Eufy which needed cleaning several times a week. Overall, I'm very impressed. Not only does this one work better than my Eufy, it does it at half the cost. There was a $20 coupon at the time of my purchase as well, which really sweetened the deal.

Exactly as advertised
I've wanted a robot vacuum for a couple years now but couldn't justify the high cost. Came across a great deal on the A800, saw it had good reviews, and decided to give it a shot. Have had it for a couple weeks now and I have to say I'm impressed. This little robot does exactly what it's supposed to. PROS: - Good cleaning. Probably the most important thing is that it does a pretty darn good job, especially if you let it run every day. We have a golden retriever which means LOTS of dog hair. The A800 has no problem taking care of the fur. We also had a Christmas tree and it took care of the needles without fail. - Works on all floors. We have a variety of flooring and the vacuum has no issue cleaning or transitioning between them. We have deep pile carpet in a couple rooms along with hardwood, vinyl and cork floors that all have dense wool rugs scattered about. The robot has no problem going between all of those surfaces and cleans them all equally well. - Quiet. The robot is quiet enough that I run in in the middle of the night on the Auto setting on our first floor while we are sleeping on the second. It goes about it's job and we wake up to a clean house. Nothing wrong with that! - Easy to operate. Emptying the dust bin on this unit is easy as is cleaning the main roller and side brushes. No issues here. CONS: - Schedule is all or nothing. The schedule can only be setup for daily cleaning every day. There is no way to tell the robot to only clean every other day, for example, or any other schedule you might imagine. So in other words, the vacuum is going to clean every day at the time you set on the schedule, or you'll have to trigger it to run manually using the remote. There is no app to control the robot. - No barriers. We have 1 piece of furniture that has an arched opening. The robot often wedges itself under it. I have had to construct a physical barrier to prevent it from getting underneath there. Would be nice if there were some type of barrier support on this unit. - Can get stuck. When the vacuum is running with full power, it rarely gets stuck. However, I've noticed that when it has exhausted its power reserves, it continues to try to clean on its way back to the base unit. The robot is usually running much slower and with less speed so it gets stuck on things much easier in this state. Would be an improvement in the design to have the vacuum return directly to the base when it's in low power mode instead of continuing to try and clean on the way back. - Small bin. Not unexpectedly, the bin is quite small on the vacuum and does need to be emptied after every use. Overall, this vacuum is exactly what I was looking for. A cheap, good cleaning robot without a lot of bells and whistles to get in the way of just doing its job. I can't quite justify 5 stars for the machine because of the cons I noted above, but if I could give it 4.5 stars, I would as that seems more appropriate. If you can get this for ~$150, I'd highly recommend it! UPDATE January 25, 2020 ------------------------------- Amarey offers a free Replenishment Kit with this vacuum if you submit a review and send them a link to it via a support email. They promise to ship the kit in 5 business days. I followed the process and sent them an email on January 12th. I still have not received a response from the company despite asking for an update. It has been 10 business days and counting... UPDATE February 1, 2020 ------------------------------ Still no response whatsoever from the company. I have dropped my rating by 1 star since it seems that customer service is not their strong suit. UPDATE February 3, 2020 ------------------------------ Finally got a response from the company and received the Replenishment Kit a few days later. Bumped back up to 4 stars.
