It’s what you should use…
Don’t ever use the aftermarket filter that looks like a paper bag wrapped around some plastic…. Just use this and never worry.

I've been buying the oil filter for my 2014 Cruze diesel on Amazon for a few years. It's an OE GM filter. And although the price has been creeping up it's still much cheaper than getting ripped off by the Chevrolet dealer for the exact same filter they would supply.

The wix filter ranges from 16-19 dollars but is a better filter if you're willing to shell out the money. This filter includes both gaskets you'll need as well. One for the filter and the other for the canister.
