If a person is patient and allows the bacteria in these packets to work over time, they will achieve a perfect pond. It took about 2 months, but applying one packet every 4 days, worked perfectly for a 1,500 Gallon Pond, Stream, and Waterfall. Comments where the user put multiple packets in every day, will kill your fish. Follow the instructions, and WAIT. I use this product exclusively now and have a perfect pond all summer. Also, you need an ultraviolet light to remove green water, not bio products. You can purchase a good UV light to put inline with your outflow water going back to the pond, that will keep all green water gone.

This item works very well to keep my pond water clean and healthy just make sure you do a weekly treatment .I have been using this product for years and was glad to find it on Amazon

Took around 2 months before I saw results pond is clear

I've been using this product in my Koi pond for a number of years. Easy to use packets make things very simple. I start using as soon as my pond is cleaned in the spring -- it helps "seed" the filtration media -- and continue regularly until things are prepped for winter. Helps water quality and clarity.

This product did not work as advertised

This stuff works great for helping to clear up your pond. It won't dissolve ALL the muck at the bottom, but it will help to get rid of enough muck to clear the water if you follow the directions and continue to treat your pond until it is clear. Then you need to get the rest of the muck out of the bottom of your pond (if you have any) to prevent it from recurring. I have a 14x15' pond about 5 feet deep in the center. This helped me NOT have to demuck the pond for about four years...and still have crystal clear water most of the time!
