Excellent for wiping off dried polishes & waxes
Let me start off by saying that I've spent quite a bit of time online researching different microfiber towels. What you need to be aware of is that there is a huge difference in the quality of microfiber towels available online and in stores. Now, depending on the use you have for the towel should also depend on the type of towel you go with. If your like me and your looking for a towel to use on the exterior of your vehicle, then you should be looking for one that will be gentle on your clearcoat. If you think that the microfiber towels you find at your local auto parts or hardware stores are of good quality, think again! They're not! The type you will find in these stores will most likely be made in China ( not Korea) which are usually of inferior quality. The ones from South Korea on the other hand are not. They are the best you will find in terms of quality. Now, notice I said "most" microtowels from China are of inferior quality? You heard that correct. Not all are. There are a few out there (these included) that are of decent quality and will not scratch your clearcoat. Here's the thing. If your one of those people who have to have the very best. Then by all means, go with the ones from Korea. Just be prepared to spend a pretty penny for them lol. If on the other hand your looking for a more economically priced microfiber towel that is not quite the best, but is far better than most of the ones coming from China, then these are for you. You will not find a better microfiber towel from China than these I promise you that. The thing that is of importance here is that these towels have the same amount and type of materials (70% polyester/30% polyamide) as the ones from South Korea. This is most likely because the materials they're made from are coming from South Korea. Sure, they may not be quite as soft as the ones made in Korea (due to the manufacturing process being slightly different) but they're pretty darn close. I know because I also have the more exspensive ones from Korea. Indeed, these towels are manufactured in China, but it's my belief that the materials are actually from South Korea. The only difference being the way in which they are manufactured. The only other thing that sets these towels apart from the more expensive micro's manufactured in Korea, is that they aren't edgeless. That doesn't really matter imo though because the outside is lined with silk, so they won't scratch your paint either way. That, and the fact that they still have the tags on them, but you can just pull them off with a gentle tug. Having said all this. These are excellent microfiber towels for the price. If your buying these for your vehicle. I suggest using them ONLY for wiping off dried polishes & waxes. Use the waffle weave micro's for liquids (detail spray, water, etc.) and the less expensive micro's for your interior. Remember to wash your microfiber towels before you first use them and always wash them separately from your other micro's in a detergent that doesn't contain perfumes or dyes to prevent bleeding and lint buildup. I prefer using Woolite myself. And no, you don't need to use special microfiber soap! Also, NEVER wash them with regular bath towels or you'll really have a lint problem! NEVER dry them with high heat in the dryer either! Use low heat for four mins to fluff them. Then hang them up to air dry. And last but not least. NEVER USE FABRIC SOFTENER ON THEM!!!

Good for washing paint and interior detail
Very nice towels for the car. I use them to wash using a method to fold them into quarters so I have 8 usable sides before throwing into the used bucket and moving on to another fresh towel. These work great for that use case. They are also good for drying the door jambs or interior cleaning. They are too small to use as a drying towel for the car but that's not the primary use case IMO for these size towels. Very soft and wipes away water and cleaning solution very well.

Solid 80/20 blend towels for detailing.
Good product overall. It is a bit more expensive then its competitors, however I think Chemical Guy products are very high quality and consistent from product to product. It is a 80/20 blend.

Very soft, plush, more professional in quality
I gotta say, these are pretty nice, pretty plush. I've bought some others off Amazon, that were extremely disappointing. So, I was hesitant to order these off Amazon, but I pulled the trigger on these. They were more expensive, but they are quite soft & plush.

Good, But No Different Than Other Microfiber Towels
I recently purchased the Chemical Guys Professional Grade Premium Microfiber Towels and while they are good, I haven't found them to be any different than any other microfiber towel I have used in the past. They are soft and absorbent, and safe for use on my car, in my home, and for drying my pets. The size of 16x16 inches is a good size for most tasks, and the pack of 12 towels provides a good value for the price. However, I haven't noticed any significant difference in quality or performance when compared to other microfiber towels I have used in the past. If you're in the market for some microfiber towels and you like the brand Chemical Guys, then these towels might be a good choice for you. But if you're looking for something that stands out from the crowd, or for better value, you might want to consider other options.

They work very well, but leave behind a lot of lint
These microfiber towels work well. They are a great size if you want fold your towel into quadrants to get the most out of them when cleaning. My only complaint is they leave behind a lot of lint. This isn't an issue for any surface other than your windows. If you're cleaning your dashboard or exterior paint, you won't notice any lint. However, as soon as you start cleaning your windows with these, you'll see the lint they leave behind and it will be very visible. The lint doesn't come off on its own once once things dry up, you will have to wipe over them with the a dry towel while blowing on the surface to get these to lift and land somewhere far away. The lint these towels leave behind is very stubborn. I'll keep these, but have proceeded to purchase a separate set of towels specifically for use with windows. UPDATE: After some trial and error, it seems the key to getting rid of the lint is to just get a dry microfiber towel and wipe over the area again. I purchased a separate set of microfiber towels and they do the same thing, so I'm resigned to the fact that this is probably just normal behavior for microfiber towels. Updating to 5 stars because these are otherwise very good towels.

Thick and durable, wash easily.
These are excellent premium, thick micro-fiber cloths. Best on the market for serious detailers and car/aircraft aficionados.

Bought for under 30$ for 12 towels, it is the best deal you could get on this side of the border. These towels are amazing. I did try 4 other brands and models of plush microfiber, and these ones beat them in price and equals or surpass them in quality. First, the silk edges are really nice and safe. As long as you clean your towels well and you are careful not dragging the edge in the dirt, if it touches the paint, you are still safe. The towels have two distinct sides, one where the piles are much taller, and the other with low piles. Personally, I like having both on the same towel. For most applications, like rinseless/waterless washing, both sides will do equally well. Where these towels truly shine for me is when I have to remove used compound, polish or wax from the car. I find that the low pile side is ideal for removing most of the product on the first wipe. As the pile is lower, it is not as "grabby" when it collects large amounts of product. When you have collected most of the product, flip the towel or get another one with the plush side, and buff the fine remaining layer safely. The high piles feel safer on the paint when there is no more product. I'm sure the low pile side would not swirl the paint either, but the high pile, extra plush side is somehow easier on my mind when I just finished polishing a panel. Even if these had only low pile on both sides, at this price, I would still get them. They last a good amount of time. Personally, I soak them in clean warm water, right after I finished using it, to loosen and flush most of the product/dirt out. After all, if, and I assume you do, use the same machine as your clothes, you don't want any wax or polish to get on your clothes on the next wash. Next, I use warm water with a scentless "natural" detergent in the machine, NO DOWNY OR SOFTNER, and I dry them on a rack in a well ventilated room. This makes them last forever. If I have to guess, I'd say that some of mine might have been through this process about 50 times and they still feel like new when dried. And they do not lint as other "middle end" towels did. Just don't use them on door jams, seals or any other super greasy places. If you maintain your car well and you know these places have already been degreased, then fine. But some damage cannot be undone on towels, and it would stink to throw away a 3$ towel because of that. Use cheap towels for that. Same thing for harsh chemicals. I'm not saying these would not last through them, but why put your luck to the test. Chances are, with ample product, your door jams will be fine with cheap towels anyway. That is a risk we have to take. Anyway, now to the downsides. One downside is that they come with a stupid paper tag with the company logo on their side. I know who I bought them from, it's not like my neighbor will spot the brand on the 1/2 inch tab from his driveway. Anyway, just pull the tags out gently and that's it. But while doing so, you risk loosening or breaking the seam. Although for my batch of 12 towels, it went OK. Do not cut the tags. Even if you get super close, there might still be a little stripe of paper sewn to the towel, and you do not want that rubbing against your paint. The second downside is that they'll bleed yellow dye for AT LEAST one wash. But then again, what kind of brightly colored material doesn't. Just make sure to wash them alone for a good 2 washes. I washed mine with other towels on the second wash and there was still color transfer. None after that. Just make sure to not put it with clothing on the first few washes. And if you can, never put your towels with clothing, ever! Your "significant-other-who-doesn't-care-about-detailing-and-does-not-want-to-smell-like-carnauba-everyday" will thank you. I hope it was more information than you needed. If anyone has a better deal for towels in Canada, and it doesn't require you to buy in bulk, like 500 towels, I'd like to know for sure. Good detailing to you all!

As expected great quality and value at the time I purchase i want to stoke it but after purchase two times price increased. It's far better than TRC towels after 1 wash with Chemical guys microfiber wash still soft and can use multiple time to dry the car, Polish removing and Wax removal. Even it's working great with Rinseless and waterless car wash Every brand says lint free but most of them loose fibers on glass cleaning after 1st wash This one is doing well after 2 wash as their yellow towel Even softer don't scratching paint with Quick detailer hope. Will be buying again once price is reasonable
