Wilton 2-Piece Flower Impression Mold, Green

I bought one of these years ago at Michaels craft store. I love it for making impressions in clay for making leaves. Recently, I used mine and a friends together to get the leaf texture on both sides of my leaves. Being elated with the results, I bought a second one for both her and I.

I bought this to make orchids out of gumpaste for the cake during my elopement celebration. I'm very much so an amateur cake decorator and I found this impression relatively easy to use and gave the desired effect to the gumpaste. The silicone makes it easy to clean as well.

This is a good quality made silicone product. It has to separate pieces. One that has the lines for the center veining of flowers and the other has the imprints of the actual vein lines of the petals and leaves. It also has different size molds for the centers of the flowers.I rated this 5 stars due to the quality and thickness of the silicone.

Good fondant tool, or any type of sugar work.

Works with Wilton 2109-7987 28-Piece Gum Paste Cutters Set. If you have that set, ithis really brings the flowers to life.Its not made terribly clear that hey go together.

Works wonderfully for making fondant petals and leaves to be wired as well as imprinting them for a more realistic look.

Pointless without a cookie cutter that cuts the exact perfect flower for the mold
