Plaid Craft Clear Acrylic Sealer Aerosol Spray (6-Ounce), CS200307 Matte

I did it on the cover of my sketchbook which I painted with acrylic pint. The before feel was dry, chalky, if you know what acrylic feels like. But after it looked matte, felt glossy. Afterwards i did it on a phone case I painted and it worked perfect, its been used for about 6 months and the paint has only faded a little. Would definitely reccomend.

great coating for projects

I do not believe I am using this the way it is technically intended to, but it works like a charm. I purchased some ceramic vases recently that were improperly glazed and they leak water (water seeps through the clay and soon there's a puddle at the bottom of the vase - basically unusable). I was about to toss them but decided to see if I could rescue them. Bought some Gorilla brand sealant and this one. I sprayed (the interior of the vases), let dry for 24 hours and then filled the vases with water... they no longer leak!! I am so happy that this sealant saved the vases. (FYI the Gorilla brand sealant didn't work) Yes the smell is strong, so just work outside, with gloves and a mask... the smell disappeared completely after drying for 24 hours.

I love this spray. It has the best finish of all the sprays I have used. It gives the perfect matte sheen to my finished ceramic pieces.

I purchased this to use on pieces of stone block that my mother and I were painting as headstones for our recently passed away furbabies. I applied this product over the acryllic paint on the stones and did so several times after waiting in between coats. I used the product outside and I am glad I did as the odor was almost overwhelming. It did, however, work really well as a sealant and I was very happy with both finished products.
