Red Bean Mochi (Japanese Style Red Bean Mochi) - 7.4oz (Pack of 1)

I love mochi and red bean paste and it's probably my favorite sweet treat. I thought these were pretty decent, but you can definitely tell that these taste like they are mass produced snacks. If you're okay with that, then go ahead because it's a decent price for how many you get and I think they're quite delicious. One thing I found interesting is that they don't freeze... But anywho, if you're looking for something high quality, then this might not be the best thing for you. I'd order these again and one thing I like is that they don't taste at all like the packaging.

First of all, my red sweet bean mochi was delivered on time! I have been craving this for a long time. Upon opening the box and package (which by the way was sealed perfectly) I immediately popped one of these red sweet bean mochi in my mouth!! Oh my goodness, it was fresh, mochi was soft and beans were sweet and delicious! I’m happy that I bought 2 boxes! It won’t last long, so I’d better order more soon! Thank you for a delicious treat!!

Not to be disrespectful, but I always wanted to try a red bean paste treat but can't say I felt anything great here. I don't feel they really taste like anything. The product was well-made, packaged nicely, and they tasted like mochi, but the flavor just didn't stand out with me. If you've got a preference for red bean, you may enjoy it more than I did. A.

Updated review... so the quality you get is inconsistent. These are more like gelatin then mochi. Last box I got was soft and perfect, these are tough and chewy. Will not be ordering these again. Original 5 star review... Love these anko daifuku mochi, super soft, not to much flower on the outside, good amount of anko on the inside, very sticky and soft. Excellent product.

Order came right on time. I've always been open to trying new things, and I have always been curious about mochi. When I finally tasted one for the first time I had very mixed feelings. I do indeed enjoy a variety of foregin snacks. I did watch reviews to prepare myself before consumption. The white rice cake taste like a japanese rice candy I buy from Walmart regularly. By that I mean they're both chewy, a tad bit sweet, now the Anko taste sweet and exactly what it is a sweet bean. I don't know I guess I had high expectations, but that doesn't mean the treat wasn't enjoyable. I'd definitely order again but not anytime soon.

Tasty

The texture is soft like a marshmallow but it is chewy like a mochi, it is so fresh and filling is not too sweet, it is so good and addictive, definitely can eat the whole box in one sitting haha
