Men's Photochromic Sunglasses Polarised Sunglasses for Driving Metal Wrap-around Semi-Rimless Frame with UV400 Protection

I'm buying a second pair as I recently lost the first, which I had for 5 years. I have been extremely happy with them. They greatly reduce glare on my windscreen, and the photo-chromatic aspect means I can use them in both sunny and overcast driving conditions. They are comfortable to wear too. They could possibly wrap around a bit more to account for side light, but I'm not going to remove a star for that because the glare reduction in the centre of my vision is the main benefit for me.

Very comfortable - the ear pieces are lightly sprung and the nose pieces are easily adjustable to achieve a good fit. The frame is also very light and I had no discomfort on a long drive. Also comes with a good quality hard case and a soft case which fits easily in my car centre console. The polarization works well to reduce glare but is not not so strong that I can't read my smartphone display and the optical clarity of the lenses is good. My only complaint would be that I'd like the tint to be a little darker in very bright sunshine - on very bright days I'll have to use a darker pair of glasses (hence only 4 stars). I'm a big fan of Oakley sunglasses as I still think they're the best around, but they're very expensive and the sunglasses available at this price point are now so good it's getting hard to justify the hefty price premium for Oakleys. Excellent. comfortable, good fit, good value, good polarising effect and effective polychromic darkening effect. The glasses start as a light shade, so don't impair vision in low light (even indoors) but are still effective in dealing with the glare of bright sunshine. Bear in mind that the darkening effect is triggered by ultra-violet light so it will not work inside a car, where the glass screens out u/v. However, the polarising is still very helpful. (My pair was helpfully supplied with a mini u/v torch to test the lenses, which showed rapid darkening.) So long as you are not looking for something super-dark to hide behind, these are effective, stylish and great value.

They are comfortable and light. But I was disappointed in the photochromic affect. Even when left sat in direct sunlight for a considerable time, the tint does not change. I bought them for driving in the low sun, but they do not darken in sunlight.

Arrived on time

Photochromic is much better than i thought. Go indoors from the hot sun and leave them on. Don't have to keep removing them in shops cafés etc. Hence less chance of forgetting them, losing them

The sunglasses are okay, but don’t rely on the photochromic lenses they are very slow to react (if they react at all.

What I wanted was Photochromic glasses, well, they are sort of. I covered one lens and left them on a window sill in the full sun for 30 minutes, The exposed lens did darken but not by a lot. Both darkened and you do get a milder pair of glasses which I find I like. I don't like these black as black sooper coool shades as they are just for image. These are Polaroid and do that well, generally they are nicely made and quite stylish. They come in a stout hard case with cleaning clothes and a Polaroid tester. On the whole, they are quite good mild dark glasses and I think they will do what I want them to do. Decent price and good value not withstanding the Photochromic aspect.

Lenses are NOT translucent, I would say in the dark they are about 30?% dark. In other words these are 1-3 category lenses(not 0-3). Sunglasses are kind of heavy. Metalic frame is cold magnet. But they look nice, stylish, polarization is good.

De fotocromaticas nada de nada, sólo polarizadas. Yo tengo fotocromaticas para ciclismo y también graduadas son claras a la oscuridad y oscuras cuando hace sol. Peefiero que el comercial cambie el enunciado de las gafas.

Prodotto ottimo.. NON scuriscono più di tanto..se il sole e forte tende a dare fastidio. Ideali usarli alla guida con poca luce o sera. ideali periodo non estivo .
