I've had 4 cats over the years and every one of them has had this toy. My current cat is elderly and i'm not really sure why I never bought him one. When I saw it i thought he deserved a new toy. He has carried this mouse all over the house for several days now. I woke in the night to find him hiding it and catching it under a paper bag. He's like a kitten again. I do have catnip spray that I usually put on his toys but the stuff it came with seems to be doing the job just fine.

A refillable catnip toy.....GENIUS!!! My cat has gotten SO much enjoyment out of this little mouse! And we have gotten so much enjoyment out of watching him with it! It is extremely sturdy! He has chewed, clawed and loved on it, and it stays closed. We refresh the catnip (which is included!!!) about once every 2-3 weeks and he is happy as a clam! I love this, and I cannot say enough about it! I buy him usually one new cheap toy a month, and this one is the best so far!!! Get your cat one! Seriously!

I have 4 cats and I bought 2 of these mice as a "trial." We have an old, ratty toy mouse that has somehow survived for about three years. It's tattered and grimy and ripped but they LOVE it. I'm hoping these refillable catnip mice will take its place in their hearts! The soft wooly fur makes it easy for them to pick it up with their claws. This morning I awoke to find one of the cats rolling around on the floor with it, clawing and biting and cuddling it. It's a win! It comes with a generous amount of catnip. The mouse's tummy has a little opening where you put the catnip and it closes with Velcro. I sort of get it "started" by squishing the mouse in my fingers to release some of the catnip scent. Very good quality. I love that it's refillable.

It is a fun toy, a decent size, and it's very soft. Value for money, not so much. You can find similar items at the Dollar tree for a book. I was in a pinch, that's why I got it here. I would recommend, but I wouldn't buy several of these. I can get them for a dollar and when you're buying in bulk for multiple kittens, things can get pricey when they are three or four dollars.As for durability, my cats are going to tear this thing up in an instant. I don't imagine it lasting more than a month. The catnip is a nice touch, so you can use that for other toys that you have. All in all it's a fun toy, and it would be durable if you had only one cat.
