These plugs are very high quality and the value for money spent is outstanding. These are, by far, the best plugs that I've experienced in a long time and they were very easy to install. Speaker cable is held firmly in place by two set screws. There's no chance the cable is going to be pulled free from these plugs. I've got three different amplifiers and the installation of these plugs is going to make switching from one amp to another a very simple precess that will take a maximum of 30 seconds. Same thing applies if I want to change speakers.

Quality is excellent and they accommodated the 10ga speaker wire I use very well. Installation was as easy as the ones I was replacing. Because the connections within my 45 year old Altec Lansing #9s are recessed the 45 degree angle of the pin worked out superbly.

Not much to say. They work. Quality seems nice.

I knew before I bought them, I didn't want or need the bent tips. But, 90% of the sellers think I need 5 or more pair of these. As I read in some reviews, attaching them to the speaker wires works...with a lot of effort. It is difficult. Fortunately, I am a handy man and am used to these types of designs. The silver body, depending on the type of speaker wire you have, don't give you the space you need to insert the wire and screw on the tips. It does depend on the type of wire. My speaker wires have an outer layer that is the same diameter as the silver bodies. That makes it very difficult to push the silver body down far enough to insert the wire and tighten both screws without cutting too much of the outer covering off and exposing the wires. But, it worked. They would not be my first choice.

These may not be as sturdy as normal straight or right angled banana plugs, but they're solid and would take some serious effort to snap off. Most importantly they're thin enough and at a perfect angle to fit with my Klipsch RP-240D wall mounted speakers where none of the others would come close.It's a tight fit though and if you're going to mount the speakers on the wall, you may have to remove the screw on jackets and use shrink wraps instead.

I generally prefer using bare wire ends for my speaker hookups, but in this case I was rocking a Sansui 9090DB (one of the best stereos ever made, btw) and on this unit you cannot use speaker port B for your subwoofer connections because of the stereo/mono misalignment. So, on the 'sui, you need to be able to fit your sub connects and main speaker wires into the same ports.Because I use 12 gauge wire, there was no chance of me fitting both sets of bare wire on there.I bought these plugs in order to thin out the ends so I could fit two sets of speaker connects into each port. And it was going to work, if this product was not total garbage.See, I fit both sets into each port no problem. I turn on the stereo, and then I immediately recognize, nope, big problem. I get a few seconds of muffled, terrible sound, I jiggle the wires a little bit, and, bam, the fuses for both channels of my stereo were blown almost instantly.This product is garbage.

I have outdoor speakers that have a longest run of almost 100 ft. So, I used 8 gauge wire which was way to thick for the connection points on my amplifier, even though they were tined. The banana clips were the answer. The double screw connections make a secure connection and the shield easily fit over the thick wire shielding.
