Followed a couple of youtube videos on the replacement. Once completely installed, I plugged in and charge d the unit for about 6 hours. It holds a charge for a long time, though I am only typically on it for maybe an hour unplugged...it never has gotten below 75% charge. Also - Great shipping. I received my battery in about 2 days.

Good price for this item

I installed the battery and it worked for 3 weeks. I started having problems after noticing that every time I plugged the battery charger the battery started to get extremely hot to the point that I could not hold the laptop computer. I do not recommend this product. Unfortunately, the window to return was last week and I did not realize that the deadline had passed.

Works well. Dell Latitude 5285. Perfect fit and computer works as new with 6 hours of battery.

The package arrived very timely. It works, is inexpensive, and easy to install. After a week, I'm still getting at least double the battery life and much faster charging time. I think my prior battery was a just that old. If you are not sure if you install it, you can google or watch the video to explain. The main steps are to use a self-contained screwdriver to unscrew the four holes that are attached to the notebook, unplug the battery cable connector, and remove the old battery. Follow the steps to install the notebook on the new battery. The operation process was quite simple and exceeded my expectations.

Once it hits 36% in discharge it dies. It also can't be charged to 100%. Garbage. Yet another scam.
