Using product for a few years now
I have used them for ice and heat packs and I absolutely LOVE them. I've been using them for a few years now and they last for about a day and a half in a regular lunch box/cooler but in the right kind of insulated lunch box/cooler, they last for a good while. Heat packs last for awhile as well. Great for those aches and pains. I highly recommend these!! BUT the only down fall is if they get nicked they are a mess to clean up. So alittle tip I do so I have nothing to worry about, is even if nothing is wrong with them.. I always put them in a ziploc bag. But yes I love love love these and will continue to buy them.

No slimey feel st all!
No slimey feel at all. I was a little apprehensive about buying these at first. There are numerous reviews that talk of apparent leakage. Having to put them in ziplock bags etc. Others stated difficulty filling the little pillows with water. Either these have been improved or those people just got bad ones. They require no effort to fill at all. These have no leakage at all! This after reuse in excess of 10 times. I had back surgery 1 sheet will make 3 icebags of the exact size you are supposed to use.

And my wrist is still sore!
So very disappointed with this shipment! I have used Herolily Ice Sheets for years. There's always been one in my freezer but it finally it needed to be replaced. I ordered another set. When I used the new reconstituted packs for a picnic, I noticed some gooey stuff on the outside of the pack. Threw that one away and reconstituted another one. Same thing. Before freezing it again, I squeezed it to determine where the gooey stuff was coming from, thinking I might be able to seal a small hole with a glue. There was not one hole, but several. Too many tiny holes to make that feasible. In the garbage it went. The third try was no more successful. It too has been consigned to the garbage pail. Now, how do I sooth my sore wrist? The seller sent a new Herolily. It does not seem to have the pinholes of the original purchase and I should be able to use it as I did the old ones which were quite satisfactory. It's been 6 months and the second shippment of Herolily is doing just fine. The seller replaced the faulty ones and the new ones do not leak. I am satisfied that the product is worth investing in.

Do not oversoak..they will leak.
They worked great at first. Make sure you do not oversoak...they do burst and leak. Used in my lunch tote for a few weeks..then they burst and leaked all over everything.

Love 'em for cold use
They live in my freezer until I use 'em, which is a lot. *Please remember 15 minutes on, then 15 minutes off. Dont do it all day long or you'll hurt yourself.* I use a handtowel over it when I use it, otherwise its really, really cold. :(I haven't tried to use 'em for hot.

Didn't last long
I used these in a soft sided RTIC cooler bag to keep 4 steaks frozen and some other items cold for a canoe camping trip. at the end of day 1 (mostly driving in an air conditioned car), the top pack was mostly thawed and the 4 steaks were beginning to thaw on one side. I re positioned the remaining frozen pack. around the steaks and by the time we arrived at camp (65 degrees outside), the second pack was thawed completely and the steaks were starting to thaw. The nice thing was that the steaks were thawed in time for dinner the first night as planned but other items in the cooler had to be eaten that night as well. I followed the instructions to soak them and froze the packs in a deep freezer prior to the trip. Im disappointed they only lasted about 36 hours in a cooler that holds actual ice for 2-3 days easily in warmer weather.

Great for camping and if you have a long commute to the store.
These are awesome. They freeze quickly and hold for a long time. Only thing that would make them better is to be able to make the sheets smaller for when you have a smaller cooler.

The quality control on this product is poor. It performs as advertised
The quality control on this product is poor. It performs as advertised, but the polymer in the cells is not evenly distributed. The corners, especially, suffer from this and seem to have 1/3 to 1/2 the amount of polymer as the other cells once the pack is hydrated. I have just received it so cannot comment on overall durability, but I was able to cut out some individual cells without any polymer leaking. I bring this up because another review of this product, or maybe someone in the Q&A section, expressed concerns about not being able to cut the cells apart. Though back to quality control, I might have just cut apart cells that had good welds between them. I would still buy this again, but might go with the brand name version if it were to be available with the needed shipping options.
