PSA: Always purchase genuine Honda/Acura power steering fluid for your vehicle. Your power steering pump may not forgive for cheating.

My 2012 Honda Accord was making a very noticeable whining sound forever now, and this was the perfect solution. I topped off the fluid in the reservoir then took it out for a test drive and the whining sound was completely gone and it drove like a dream. The fluid was very easy to handle and I trust it will last a good long while. It is Honda after all.

Only use OEM fluids in my Honda. They are different for Honda than any other vehicle will destroy their rack and pinion power steering system with any other fluid. The fluid works great. If you want to drive through a dealer, you can get it cheaper though.

I have not seen this one that was sent in a black bottle, anywhere else. It does state for Honda & Acura. I have a 1999 Acura Integra and was using the (Honda) genuine power steering fluid in the silver bottle with a blue cap. So, just taking off one star because i haven't used it yet. Seals seeping on rack & pinion, so using just to top it off every now & then.

I am not really a car guy. But I have a '09 Honda Odyssey minivan and I needed power steering fluid. Multiple online sources said that for mine I needed genuine Honda fluid. If you are a mechanic, or otherwise knowledgeable DIY car mechanic, you can probably follow the advice to get a decent substitute power steering fluid for your Honda. But in my ignorant case, I did not want to chance it. Although if you are one of those kind of car guys, you are probably distilling your own power steering fluid in your backyard, and not reading this review on Amazon looking for replacement fluid for your Honda. Ha This is pricey, for what I thought it should cost. It also is a small bottle. But it was perfect for what I needed. I was able to easily add it to my minivan; and it did the trick. I recommend this.

The best Amazon prime experience. Saved a lot of money by ordering from here, and also saved the trip to Honda for buying the fluid. Replaced the steering fluid myself very easily.
