VanEnjoy 6.77" Beckoning Ceramic Maneki Neko Lucky Fengshui Cat

I’ve always loved cats and thought these waving kitties were so cute, but I didn’t actually purchase one until I played the “Control” video game by Remedy Entertainment. (There’s a secret trophy to find all of the hidden Maneki-Neko figures throughout the game levels.) These cats are also referred to as “Beckoning Cat” or “Lucky Cat.” I purchased this waving gold kitty (and a black kitty) and he’s so adorable! He sits on my shelf in my office at work to welcome all who enter my domain (and to bring me a little luck). This kitty is very cute and definitely a conversation starter. It runs on batteries, which I remove every day before going home for the day/weekend and put them back in when I return to my office. This helps the batteries last much longer - I’m still using the same first pair since purchasing this lucky kitty last year. Definitely an adorable piece for your home or office, especially for a cat lover like me!

Super cute, not real big, but not too small, about as tall as a 16oz bottle of water. It's plastic, but that was obvious before the purchase. It's built just fine, and the arm waves when you put in the AA battery. There is no battery cover, probably because there is no off/on switch. I pull the battery and place it in the hole underneath the cat sits on. When I want it to wave, I lift it, grab the battery and put it in. My girlfriend and daughter both want one now, but it's mine!

My customers in Waikiki love my kitty. I have a plaque discussing my beckoning maneki-neko and it's been a true delight! I have a ceramic white maneki-neko but this one steals all the attention with the shiny glitter gold finish and waving arm. Nice size and long battery life.

I got this as a gift for my husband. It’s cute and works well, but to be honest it does feel a little cheaply made. The materials are fine, but the details are painted in a bit crooked and off center which isn’t the best thing when you’re gifting something. It more or less was what I was looking for, but I do feel like I’d have chosen a different one had I known the painting wasn’t right

Purchased this on a whim (and by whim I mean wine) and couldn’t be happier. Added to my festive holiday display and it fit in wonderfully. Packed nicely. Easy to set up. My only slight criticism, the battery compartment doesn’t have a lid. Seems weird. But; still love it.

This is so awful in so many ways! Basically it’s so poorly made and the bottom piece is missing. The painting is all cattywampus and flaking off. Do not waste your money. I got it for a birthday celebration and there is no time to return it.

My mother fell in love with these at the nail salon so it was a perfect add-on gift for Christmas. She loves it - it's a cheap plastic thing but it serves it's very basic purpose. The left arm moves back and forth like it's waving at you. Very cute for all cat lovers.

The bottom was completely detached and for $60:00 it was not ceramic which I paid for.
