Really like this carabiner. It’s built like a tank and the fit and finish is incredible. I like the captive bar a lot as I use it for my mechanical prusik devices for tree work. They’re a little pricey and not quite as light as some others. But it has to endure far more use and abuse from tree work than maybe some other uses.

This is my favorite lanyard carabiner. I used it to make positioning lanyard for work and its been greate so far.

I like the design of this carabiner because it’s not the awkward push up. To me it’s one of the most underrated ergonomic carabiner. It is rated for climbing and made in the USA. I used it as a carabiner on my personal lanyard and it works well. I can clip in my harness loop and easily unclip with one hand.

Rock Exotica is the majority of the carabiners on my harness.Great addition to the cache of rope access equipment. Very well built and reliable.

Stayed oriented Very light Great product

Easiest 3 stage lock to use with one hand. Not excessively heavy, but very heavy duty. Wish I could afford to change out all of my auto locking ‘biners with these. This will be my go-to quick use for swapping in and out of safety lines and applications where speed and one hand operation is important while still being high strength

I use this in single and double rope tree climbing. Safe and well built product. Also use the Rock exotica Pirate. You can use this product with confidence. Always a nice feeling when your life is at stake! Also a great item in a BOB.

I use this on the primary end of my positioning lanyard. Gate is always oriented where I want it and the chances of improperly loading the carabiner are greatly reduced. Quality is standard for Rock Exotica products and is second to none. Use only with a tight eye splice!
