Really RELAXING Colouring Book 2: Colour Me Calm

Fun and easy way for me to relax while watching tv. I hate commercials so this is a nice way to wait until my show comes back on. Mindless TV with a touch of color!!

Coloring is a great way for anyone to relax. I purchased this as a gift for my sister and she absolutely loves it! She was so excited to get a chance to color and just take her time doing something.

I have quite a few coloring books now and this one is not my favorite. There isn't anything particularly wrong with it except the paper isn't the best quality and the designs are not that great. Some are really pretty but others aren't really ones that could be colored very easily - they are almost line drawings. Not a book I would recommend - considering how many are available now.

I bought a couple of these adult coloring books, along with a set of 48 Prismacolor pencils and a sharpener for my daughter-in-law. She uses them sitting beside her daughter, both coloring as they watch tv together. She loves doing this because it actually does relieve stress - just quietly sharing an activity they both enjoy. I am so intrigued that I plan on buying some for myself as lots more as gifts. They're great!!

Pros:1. A few good coloring pages. Only interested in maybe a third of the designs.Cons:1. Poor quality paper. Paper is heavier than a child's coloring book, but not by much. By far the thinnest paper of the adult coloring books I've purchased.2. Pages are not perforated. I'm not going to color while dealing with the rest of the book, so I had to cut out the pages I wanted.3. Can't use markers: Water-based markers (Pentel Color Pens) bleed through the pages and pick up paper fuzz when going over an area more than once. Would easily saturate and tear a hole in the page.After locating a cutting blade, I cut out the pages I liked and photocopied them onto better paper so they are usable. But if you want to use markers, I don't recommend this book.

Really love this book. The designs are unique with patterns I like a lot. It is relaxing on a cold winter day. The quality is nice. Would purchase again. Very reasonable price.

Love the idea for calming you down are relaxing you buy coloring. I purchased several coloring books and sets of colored pencils to give to my female friends for Christmas gifts. I have always enjoyed coloring but have not done it in years and years. A very unique gift for not a lot of money.

The pictures aren't super easy, lots of thin lines and not simple to colour.

This book is simple for anyone to colour and there is a lot of repetitive colouring per page making it enjoyable to get lost in time. It is a good book for when I feel stressed or upset. It tends to be the first book I will go to as it is not too difficult once you have decided on the colours you want your picture to be, it is just a matter of following the lines.There are so many different books now to use as a therapeutic calming tool as well as a fun craft and creative idea. I like this book and think it is suitable for all ages and skill levels.This book is part of a collection of similar books of which some of them include, nature, flowers, mandalas, patterns and zen as well as others others called peace, love and harmony.The pages are not perforated so you would need to take care removing them from the book but there is a slight border on the spine of the page where is is not printed making it easy to see where to remove the page. The printing is one one side of the book and the left side is blank which makes it convenient not to have an image on the reverse of your picture.I like this book and have enjoyed colouring in the pages. The printing is in black with no border/frame on the pages and the paper is white and feels similar to the thickness of regular photocopy paper.
