ANCO 31-Series 31-28 Wiper Blade - 28", (Pack of 1)

I was taking a chance buying these at such a low price. I installed them a few days before it rained. And when I turned on my wipers to clear my windshield of the rain and debris that had accumulated ........ Wow! what a clear - perfect wipe. And, over and over. They are still performing perfectly and very quietly. Actually, they are only as expected. What I question, is - what warrants such a high price for these other wipers I've viewed? They just can't be any more efficient than these Ancos. But then, Anco has been around since the windshield. Here is an Update: It's now almost June, we're still getting rain at least once a week. The cheap wipers?? They are still performing as good as day one. Clears the windshields perfectly and still very quiet. Another update: It's November, the rain season has started. I considered replacing my wiper blades. But, these seem to be functioning fine. We've had a hot Summer and you would think these blade would have deteriorated by now - They're good as new. I may buy another set just in case. I have a feeling, they just might be setting around for a while. BTW: My son bought a pair of those expensive Dual - Aerodynamic Finned Platinum Blades. After a month the fins broke and blew off. I'll get him a set of these Ancos - just won't tell him how much they cost.

I have no issues with the quality of the product or the seller. The wiper arrived ahead of schedule and I’ve never had issues with ANCO wipers. The only issue I have is the Amazon site stated my vehicle required a 13 inch rear wiper blade, which is incorrect required a 12 inch.

I work on fleet vehicles and have changed a ton of wiper blades. We've tried various brands, prices and styles and nothing lasts much more than a year in the California sun. Unless you take them off and store them, the fact they are always resting with pressure against the windshield day after day simply folds and holds the rubber blade in a way that they just stay stuck in that direction. They may still be soft but they won't fold back the other way so you no longer get the squeegee effect. So no matter what we are always changing them every year. The simple design of the Ancos works well and they are cheap enough to just replace every rainy season and have new blades. So each year I put a fresh set of Anco blades on all my personal vehicles too and I'm done.

Fit perfectly on a 1982 Chevy S10 pickup truck

As you can see from the attached image (the wiper blade below the packaging is the new one, bottom one which is obviously worn out is the old one) the length of the blade is correct but the carriage assembly is slightly different. I didn't realize this until installing it on my vehicle and trying to attach the cover. The compressed distance from the J-hook to the surface of the glass is too small/narrow, so the blade does not push against the glass to make contact. In fact if you install the windshield wiper cover (on the rear hatch of the vehicle) it will not even make contact with the glass and the plastic cover will barely touch the glass at the end of the arm. If you notice the old blade has more 'spring' to and the spring leaves have more of an arch. I think the correct part for this would be the Anco UR-131 and not the Anco 31-13. Nonetheless I made it work by removing the rubber insert from the new blade and installing it into the old assembly. The new blade also didn't seem to lock into the J-hook like I had expected which was the first sign I might have an issue. I'm very disappointed for having to basically pay full price for a blade then having to discard half of it. Live and learn, I don't feel like dealing with the return process but also wanted to warn others. Hopefully it has decent longevity - time will tell!

They say to replace your wipers every 6 months, but despite their impossibly low price when sold as an add-on on Amazon I have found these ANCO wipers to far exceed the performance and durability of the more expensive blades I've purchased in the past at places like Canadian Tire. I mean, I've bought $25+/blade wipers in the 25+ years I've been on the road, caught up in marketing double speak and promised of space age material and new blade designs. I was researching, possbily in Consumer Reports, wipers a few years ago and these ones were highly recommended for their price so I gave them a shot. I live through a few months of sub zero weather in Canada, lots of salty roads and slushy Februarys and Marches, these wipers didn't show signs of needing replacements until they were just about a year old. Visual inspection shows they held up well too. Extremely minimal noise and streaking, I will definitely continue to use ANCO 31-series for my Cruze for the foreseeable future. Both the 17" and 22" have had the same performance for me.

Great value compared to local auto shops and the quality is holding up so far after a couple of months of winter usage.

Aun no lo pruebo con lluvia, pero se ve muy bien y resistente. Excelente producto y buena relación precio - calidad. Viene solo con un conector adicional, pero en mi caso quedo con el adaptador que trae puesto, para un VW Vento. Adquiri la de 16" y la de 24". Y ambas se perciben de la misma calidad y cada una tiene 1 adaptador distinto, adicional al que tienen puesto.
