cheap metal
They're okay considering the price but the cutters break pretty fast if you actually use them alot, then again I did use them on wire leader a few times. The teeth on the pliers are worn down just from dehooking a few bluefish and sand shark and the piece holding the two sides together has bent and they close crooked. This is about three months of mostly weekend use.

I was making a wire leader and when i went to crimp the first sleeve one side of the pliers completely broke off?

As with the other review for these pliers, the first day I took them fishing one entire side snapped in half. The problem is that I can't find my original seller nor can I find the company website to get any recourse.
