Great boots.
Great boots.I dont like how bright the threading is on the sole, but after wearing them a couple times through the mud the color dulls out nicely. They also fit a bit lose. Nothing I cant handle, but I was hoping to be able to break them in a bit. I'm gonna buy some insoles for them and see if that tightens them up a bit. That said I can still wear them all day, everyday comfortably. The color of the leather was extremely light, so I slapped some leather oil on them and that darkened them up. They will fade back to the original color, which is fine by me. If your buying these expecting very dark leather as the pictures seem to suggest you might want to be careful.Just a heads up. The picture was taken after a few days of work. The threading on the sole was originally much lighter, and I'm sure with a good cleaning they could be restored to their original brightness, but I prefer my boots dirty and worn to brand new looking anyway.

Ariat is good but sizing is always a challenge online
We buy nothing but Ariat for my husband. He is a farrier and on his feet all day. He works in steel toed boots but when he is done Ariats go on his feet all the time. I saw this good deal and I grabbed it. He is always reluctant to order boots online without trying them on first -- even when he knows his size in a certain brand. There are always little differences. Well he was right!! These boots were narrower than his last pair of Ariats even though the sizes were identical. However because there was no yoke over the top of the foot, the eventually did spread out and he wears them daily now. So I would order them again -- but as we all know, if we are picky about our footwear and sizing -- we take some chances ordering without trying them on. It worked out in the end.

Very attractive---should be very comfortable once I get the right size
I've owned a few pairs of boots over the years. Only one was of comparable quality, however---also a Western style boot. These Ariat boots are beautiful and comfortable. I was so pleased I went and ordered a second pair immediately! Heh heh---well, now, that's because, while I've been buying size 10 D (US) shoes and boots for the past ten years or so, these boots were a tad loose. They are my first Ariats, and I don't know about that. So I've gone and ordered in my sneaker size, a 9.5 D. I figure if the 9.5's are too tight, I'll stick with the 10's even though they wiggle around a little more than I like. I don't plan on any significantly long walks in 'em. Nothing worse than blistering caused by too loose boots. If you're hiking around, you gotta have snug boots! Nuff said.

Great Boot.
I'll start by saying this is my first western styled boot ever purchased. I was a little on the edge with ordering boots online especially since iv never owned a pair of western boots and not exactlly sure how they should fit but i decided to take the leap and try these out. I have very wide feet an usually wear a 9 1/2 -10 1/2 depending on the shoe style but all my other boots are 10 so i went with a 10EE. Out the box they fit perfect, the insole is so soft an comfortable it feels like pillows under your feet. they take a little getting use to but iv probally walked a mile so far and the are starting to feel better and better with every step. l also plan on using these for bull riding an horseback riding. These by far the most comfortable boots i own an i own alott of boots.

My first pair of Western boots in forty years.
The Ariat Western Horseman boot was a style I have looked at for a long time. The Ariat line has always been a good quality product and innovative ahead of the rest. I choice this style because of the walking heel, I could wear to work during the Winter months and as a dress boot on occasion. not having worn a Western style boot for so long the initial size was incorrect and had to return them for a smaller size. The exchange was handled quickly and professionally. When the correct size arrived they fit perfectly and will order another pair in the near future. The big thing I forgot about wearing a Western style boot, the heel slippage is necessary and not to be alarmed, the fit of the boot is key from the arch through the ball of the foot.

Great boots, awesome looking, but seem to run a bit large.
These boots are great looking. The dark brown leather awesome. My only issue is that they seem to run big. I wear 9.5, so that's what I ordered. They were way too big. Returned them and purchased size 9, still too big. Returned the second pair and purchased size 8.5. The length fits great in the 8.5 pair, but are pretty tight over the bridge of my foot. They'll break in with time, and shoot fit perfectly soon enough. Aside from being tight at first, they are very comfortable. If you're thinking about buying them, pull the trigger, you'll be glad you did. Maybe just order a half to a full size smaller than your shoe size, or plan on possibly returning them for an exchange.

Ariat Boots are the most Comfortable around
I really wanted to like the American Made boots better...I really did. I went to the local boot store and tried on at least 20 different pairs of boots from various manufacturers. None were anywhere near as comfortable as the Ariats. The local store was out of my size in this boot. They graciously offered to order me a pair, but I thought I'd check Amazon first. I'm really glad I did, as they were about $30 more at the local store. I'm a prime member, so shipping was free and 2 day (I love that). These boots replaced a pair of Ariats that I have had for 10 years. The old boots are still wearable, just scuffed, scratched and the heels are worn down. They have now become my yard work boots.

Excelent Brand
I am From Costa Rica, and well we just cant find Ariat boots in a store, so I always buy them in USA. this is the best boot brand i ever got, i have wear Justin, Tony Lama,Durango, Buffalo,3H and i just wont change my Ariat for nothing. My first pair was a Heritage Horseman, is a good looking boot, with extreme resistance to tough conditions and i mean tough conditions. Any boot on my feet will last 1 year and this one made it for two. This Leather is tough resist mud, oil, deep scratches and the water just dont get in...They are a little hard to set on your feet, but after a couple of days they will be broke enogh to run, jump. roping i just need my boots to be ready.
