Oriental Furniture 12" Black Temple Jar

It claims to be "Best Gift Suggestions Present for Her," so I decided to give it a try. Since Amazon does not have gift wrap option for it, I had it shipped to my home so that I can gift wrap it myself.I feel fortunate that Amazon did not have gift wrap option for this item. Because otherwise my favorite professor will receive a broken jar wrapped in a horrible package. I wonder if anything worse can ever happen to my long-term Amazon purchase, especially I paid extra dollars to expedite shipping. I would not recommend it to anyone because it is actually difficult not to break due to its abyss quality of packaging.

Beautiful picture, but lousy paint job. I've seen pottery students do a much better job. Glaze is even worse. Oh, and the lid doesn't really fit - it just sits there. However, I can position it where all the spots and streaks don't show. And, nobody can get close to it. So, guess I'll keep it. Arrived in good condition, or at least the original condition. Pretty from a distance!

These are a much darker red than in the picture and a lot bigger than I thought they would be. They are beautiful and well made but they overpowered the lamp I had them sitting by. Therefore, I had to return them.

My wife loves it! It goes well with her many other items of Chinese pottery and tableware. She will enjoy it for years.
