Oh this book is just lovey and tragic and sad. The art is so perfectly matched with the stories, and of course I fell down rabbit holes with so many of these poems, wanting to know more about these women's lives. I've gifted this book many times as there's something very significant about not only giving these women voices but recognizing what Hollywood does to women if we allow it. I've re-read this at least four times. The Sharon Tate one gets me each time.

So they call it dark? Well I wonder why? Could it be because she is twisted herself? I say yes she has to be. Anyone that would celebrate a young father being shot to death is definitely not right. You might should think about that before you partake of the darkness

Ich habe mir dieses Buch als Fan von Marilyn Manson bestellt, weil der Künstler in diesem Buch mit einem Aquarell-Portrait vertreten ist. Jedoch habe ich mit Freude feststellen dürfen, dass auch der Rest des Buches großartig gestaltet. Teils tolle Gedichte treffen auf interessante Kunstwerke. Ich schlage dieses Buch immer mal wieder gerne auf und entdecke Neues. Sehr empfehlenswert - auch als Geschenk!
