Not as strong as the originals, but they work just fine.

These are sturdy, easy to install and offer great value. Includes needed screws and the sticky tape auto placer works wonders. They hold my cabinets just fine and allow the door to close and stay closed. Very functional. Recommend.

Per the headline, the product itself is great and I haven't had any issues with them. Once installed, the magnets have been holding my cabinets shut wonderfully. No more cabinet doors drifting open. The screws they include, however, are very low quality. The screw-heads snapped off about 50% of the time while trying to install them. I was able to install all of my magnets using only the provided screws in the end, although there are now a number of decapitated screws lodged in my cabinets. So if you use the included hardware, be gentle. Otherwise, you could use your own screws and have a better installation experience.

Truthfully so hard to line up the magnet to the metal plate on the door. My cabinets were just way too tough to even put these on. Will end up tossing them. Even when they were on the magnet was not as strong as it seemed off the door. This could be due to cabinet door warping or the gaps the screws make because they don’t go in completely flush with the metal plate. A little bit of a bummer.

My dad remodeled our kitchen, and we had issues with the cabinets not wanting to stay closed. And these works great! And for a great price!

These magnetic latches work well on our kitchen cabinets. Our original spring hinges are old and worn out. These magnetic latches were ideal for our use.

I added these b/c my cabinets were swinging open on their own & the hinges were old. Since I’m living in an apartment, these magnets were the quickest & easiest fix. The case the magnets come in do not have instructions. If you are completely in the dark on how to install, it’s best to go on YouTube. But the screws that come with will break, so I had to buy similar looking screws at Home Depot for $7 (which were tough & didn’t break whatsoever) & then it worked as designed. The magnet strength is solid. There is no way my cats can accidentally open the cabinets with their paws. It also makes the cabinet doors nice & flush against opening, so bugs can’t crawl through. I still have child proof locks on some cabinets & the magnets are still easy to open. In fact, it makes me feel even more secure that the little ones can’t get in! What to have on hand before: -When drilling holes into the cabinet, it’s good to have safety glasses/goggles to keep your eyes free of any sawdust. (I didn’t need glasses with the upper cabinets, but definitely for the lower cabinets.) -Have a dustpan underneath where you’re drilling or just put some newspaper/paper towels underneath for easier clean up. Not doing so will have small wood chips that can get to little ones/cat paws, or give you a splinter. -Make sure to have a drill set, with a tinier screwdriver on hand, that will make install much easier with the tiny screws. You can get one at Home Depot or amazon. -Take the cheap screws that came with the order to Home Depot & buy identical screws. Then toss the cheap screws completely that came with the magnets. -When aligning/marking where the alternate magnets should be placed, try using scotch tape to tape the magnet in place, mark your area & then drill. -It’s helpful (& faster install) if you have a 2nd person to hold the magnet in place while you drill & add the screws. But it can be done by one person, just work extra slow to ensure you have the placement correct.
