QLT By MARSHALLTOWN Brick Tongs, Metal Handle Paver Claw for Lifting, Masonry, 88

Got this today. Having to re-level sinking 16" × 16" concrete pavers 37 lbs each. Its been raining so they are extra heavy. On top of that bad tendonitist in my right wrist. This gadget worked! Still heavy but much easier to lift them. Im a 75 year old female. There's been a few reviews that said it broke. If this thing breaks I'll gladly buy another one. I got all the pavers lifted and moved in a 10th of the time moving the same number. I'm now not dreading finishing this job.

Used for putting down 16x24 patio stones, worked fantastic and saved my hands, made placing without sliding pavers in the sand super easy! Will also allow for easy removal/replacement down the line, can grab stones out of the middle of the patio no problem.

Works for what I need it for

Great Product. I first saw these at the SpecMix 500 in Las Vegas. I needed to move and stack several hundred bricks and these made it quick and easy.

This is one of the best tools ever for pavers. It is too short for 12" pavers but worked great on 24" pavers. What a back saver. Also saves your fingers from getting mashed. Wish I had seen it sooner. Hope I don't have to but would buy again. We'll made, adjustable.

Works as advertised, I have had others that were better ( easier to release, finger hold to pick up on release) but great for the price

first thing I did when I received it is look at the welds. There are a couple of reviews that mention the welds failed after a while. So they seem to be fine. Hard to tell really since they are painted over so without removing the paint, and performing a dye penetrant inspection, it’ll be pretty hard to tell whether they are definitely good or bad. In any case, I figured for my use, this would be just fine. I’m not a pro, but for what I’m doing right now on the property, it’s perfect and is saving me some time to carry the bricks all over the place. I’m not overloading the tool anyway since I’m not out to make money or break my back. So far, the tool is working out great. All that being said, if you look at the pictures, the hinged end has a bigger weld than the other. You can see the hinge pin on the first pic. Since the end plates are recessed a little where the weld id, it could be improved by extending the bream a little in the end plate… but again, this tool works for me, so I’m quite happy with it.

The bricks of our outdoor seating area had sunk over time and needed to be re-set. Moving 900 brick pavers made for a lot of work. I moved the bricks 3 times. Picked up and stacked the bricks. Move the bricks to a cleaning station. Moved the bricks from the cleaning station to setting. This tong handled everything very nicely. Economical. Sturdy. Functional design. It was a lot of work but the tongs made huge difference in handling the pavers. No regrets in this purchase.

Very easy working with this. Well made and built for purpose. Shifting concrete blocks is as easy as pie and layin on is a cinch.
