This tool looks the same as others I've used but the pad is too soft. I think it's fine to use a couple times, but probably won't last.

Keep in mind,....I'm a total DIY person! I do not do this professionally, nor would I? Sheetrock is brutal. For me, at least. Either way, if you're going to do it, this is a good tool to have. Connects to pretty much any standard working handle. (I took one off a scrub brush) Uses butterfly screws to attach the sandpaper. Works great.

This is made of plastic, but it is a high quality plastic and will last for many years. I put new sheetrock in two entire rentals and sanded the work with this. The tool is going strong and without issue.

This is lightweight, but sturdy! This is a very helpful item for prepping a surface to be painted or plastered. I did find the standard sanding pads are too short, so best to cut your own off the the full size sheets to fit this unit.

Received today but it was missing one of the clamp pieces that holds the sandpaper.

Hard to load paper, it's ok

not on the pro level for daily use but neither is the price. it is more than adequate for the home owner doing home remodeling.
