Perfect fit
A perfect fit and high quality replacement for a 2003 Toyota Celica GT. With the 1ZZ-FE Toyota engine. Would highly recommend this. For the price it is great quality. Way better than I thought it would be. Also way cheaper than other places. It is amazing

Made my car run sluggish
This part made the engine feel weaker, especially when accelerating from a red light, it just felt like it had no power. I went and installed a used oem from the junkyard and the difference was night and day. It works in a pinch but I would consider this a temporary fix until you can get oem

It resolves my problem but...
2004 Toyota Corolla 1ZZ-FE engine. The original VVT Solenoid started leaking not at the o-ring but at the solenoid itself. Change it for a $20 cheapo VVT Solenoid from here at Amazon and it worked for less than a year. In the past, I used Doorman products and they are ok so I gave it a try and order it to save money. After installing this new Doorman VVT Solenoid the car runs fine for now. The only red flag I noticed with the Doorman VVT Solenoid you cannot or not be able to use the OEM o-ring seal from Toyota. The o-ring that comes installed is thinner and the rubber material feels cheaper. The torque for the 10mm is (8-inch pounds) no more or you will break it and it will be an EXPENSIVE job. Try to use the old 10mm from your car if you can, the one provided is not a good 10mm bolt and it will rust.
