Classic | Behind The Door | Adjustable | Medicine Cabinet, Kitchen Cabinet, & Bathroom Storage Cabinet

This is an excellent solution for homes where there is not a lot of closet space. We recently moved into a home of this nature, and I had been storing all of my bathroom supplies in the towel closet, because there was not anywhere additional to store my stuff. I am very pleased that I may finally be able to move my vitamins and other supplies out of the towel closet and put towels in there! The Cabidor works great for our low-storage home! I just wish there were more doors we could use to put Cabidors on! Now, if I could take off 1/2 point for the instructions and ease of setup, I would. The instructions were not always accurate. It was not possible to place the Cabidor precisely on my door hinges. Really, more holes should have been pre-drilled in th side of the Cabidor in order for it to be a perfect fit. Be prepared to make adjustments as you go, and be willing to accept a slightly "off" placement. (And yes, I followed the instructions and tried placing one connector upside down, but it still did not work). But, in the end, the Cabidor functions well, so there is not much to complain about. A few recommendations that may make your set-up easier... Loosen the top and bottom door hinge before you attempt to place the Cabidor. The instructions tell you to place the top part of the Cabidor over the top hinge, and THEN loosen the other hinge. That may not work. It was impossible to place the hammer in a position to loosen the other hinge once the Cabidor was placed. If you loosen both hinges first, it will be way easier. Measuring the proper distance according to the instructions did not provide me with the right placement. I ended up having to unscrew everything and re-do it several times. Perhaps my door does not function according to standard measurements. It would have been easier if I would have placed the top connector, and then visually inspected where the bottom connector needed to go as opposed to relying on the tape measure and instructions. Despite a slightly complicated set-up, I am thrilled with the storage solution. The shelves are fully adjustable and I can move them easily if my storage needs change. I definitely recommend it!

This behind the door Cabidor is such a GAME CHANGER!!!!!!!! I was missing the hardware to install the cabidor and reached out to their customer support. Debbie was OUTSTANDING! Very responsive and communicative. Such a easy smooth process!!! She had the hardware sent quickly!!!!! I could really tell that this company values their customers and the quality of the product!!! This Cabidor is perfect for those who need storage but it's HIDDEN!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not a fan of clutter AT ALL and this was the best solution! I used this in my super TINY bathroom. I can't fit anything else in there. Before Cabidor, all my bathroom essentials were scattered all over any small surface I can utilize. Now with Cabidor installed, my surfaces are clear as well as my MENTAL!!!!! It was so easy to install as well. The directions were very clear. To give you insight, I'm 5 foot tall and I did it ALL BY MYSELF. I have zero experience in doing anything like this at all. Just buy it, and see how amazing it is for yourself!

Purchased about 18 months ago; I got the non mirror model because clearance behind the door was so limited I didn't want it to crack. It's made out of a very sturdy plastic. I prefer plastic to wood since in my experience painted wood and laminate tends to peel in a wet bathroom environment and look shabby after a few years. Our bathroom is humid and this looks as good as it did the day we installed it. I'm extremely happy with this purchase. I wasn't thrilled with the idea of paying almost $200 for a storage accessory but this is BY FAR the best investment I've made in a while. It holds SO MUCH stuff and it barely take up any room. It just blends in. If we ever move I'm taking this with us. It's so useful. The magnet is pretty strong and you have to really yank to open the door. I taped a piece of paper over the magnet and that helped to make it easier to open. You only see the piece of paper when the cabinet is open and it's really high up so it doesn't change the aesthetic The most challenging part was the installation and lining up the door hinges. But I did it first try. I definitely needed help installing it- that part was a two person job. If you are considering this and it's in your budget I would say go for it. I have no regrets.

This was a perfect solution for our bathroom storage as we replaced the old mirrored medicine cabinet and needed an economical replacement. The product arrived in a well packed carton and everything needed to install was included with very detailed instructions. Shelf appears to very well built, was easy to install and provides the storage needed, I'm glad I stumbled across this product while searching amazon and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a storage solution in a small area.

Muy triste experiencia la compra del producto. El tamaño es perfecto, pero el material no es el más resistente. Además, mucho ojo: para instalarlo necesitan que su puerta al abrirse no tope con la pared. De lo contrario es imposible. La principal decepción fue abrir la caja y ver que llegaba sin el espejo, aun cuando la foto del producto y su nombre dice claramente: espejo. Una gran decepción. Además, lamentablemente, la ventana de tiempo para hacer la devolución se cerró, así que ahora tengo una cosa blanca colgada de la puerta sin espejo.

This is one of my favourite purchases on Amazon so far. So happy I found this! The instructions were clear, the packaging was great. While it clearly said two people should install this, I was able to install this on my own in less than an hour. Installation Tips: > Make sure all your tools are on the same side of your door as you! > I initially installed the magnet on the top part as instructed, but found it was better on the bottom. > I installed the top bracket with the hook at the top, and the bottom inverted with the hook on the lower part since it allowed the hooks to rest on the hinges better ++ I love that it fits so much more than I expected! Top row, hair supplies, second row, makeup, etc. The empty row in the photo is for my boyfriend's stuff. ++ It looks like built-ins! Sometimes I just leave it open - unattached to the door, and it looks like I have perfect built ins on a wall that would otherwise be useless. ++ The bottom part of the cabinet clears the baseboard quite perfectly so it is level top to bottom when resting on the wall. (be mindful if your baseboards are high and thick) ++ Adjusting the shelving is so easy! The rods are a nice touch - without them, the stuff would fall out when you pull the Cabidor away from the strong magnet. It's so much fun to use that unused space behind the door. After I installed this, I started to look at all the doors in my place, to see where else I could put this! I wish they had a narrower option, I would love to put one on the laundry door (which is narrow since I live in a condo).

I was very impressed with this product, especially the way it was shipped. The exterior box arrived with some punctures, but the interior was so well protected there was no damage. I was especially impressed with the ‘corner protectors’. I’ve seen tv’s shipped with less corner protection. The installation was very simple, and the instructions were sufficiently clear to make it a quick job. The only complaints I have are that it could be about 2” wider, maybe there is a model that is, I don’t know, my wife bought, I just installed it. Also, the lower hinge hanger could be redesigned so that the hinge mount was in the middle of the part which would allow much easier tightening of the screw closest to the door hing itself. Overall, 10/10, would buy again

The Cabidor is a very clever idea and well executed. We just moved into a smaller townhouse that has almost no storage in the bathrooms, and not a lot of places to add storage. We were looking for something other than the over the toilet cabinets, so when we saw the Cabidor on Amazon, it looked like exactly what we needed. The first one arrived with a crack in the side, but the second one was perfect. The instructions say that it's a 2 person installation, and it really is so make sure you have help. When it comes time to remove the hinge pins and mount the cabinet, I don't see how one person could possibly do it. Other than that, the instructions are easy to follow. We have it up and full and it's terrific. My only complaints: - The glue on the magnetic plate is not strong enough, so be prepared to screw the plate into your door or to supplement the glue to make it stick. - The specs say that 3.5" is needed behind the door and it's really closer to 4" that is needed. Other than that, we like it enough that we're actually considering getting another one to use as a pantry for the kitchen.
