Bassani Xhaust Megaphone Slip-On Exhaust With Baffles (2-1/2" Performance Baffles/Chrome With Polished Billet End Caps)

I purchased this exhaust for my 05 Harley Davidson Road King. I purchased this exhaust basically going off of what I know about Bassani exhaust for cars and trucks and found little reviews online regarding anybody installing these. I am very pleased with the purchase and would easily buy this exhaust again. The sound of the pipes are awesome. Much louder than stock (with baffles in) but, not to the point of being obnoxious. Remove the baffles and it gets real loud with a popping sound when you come out of the throttle (carb needs to be jetted). I did not notice a lack of power with the baffles out but, the popping sound was annoying so I put them back in. Overall this is a great slip-on setup and a couple hundred cheaper than the competitors. Also, I would not advise reusing the exhaust clamps. I had major issues with one of mine not tightening down properly. They are $25 at your local Harley shop. Hope this is helpful.5/25/13 Update-Just went on my first ride other than to and from work which is a short distance at a top speed of 30 mph. These pipes sounds awesome at interstate speeds! Even happier now than I was when I wrote the original review.
