order a size smaller
i'm usually a size 6 and i ordered a size 5 in this (35)- they're so comfy. i love them.

Weird sizing discrepancies based on color
I was so excited to get these as my previous birkenstock Gizeh in brown were worn to the ground. I figured, it would be easy since I already knew my size and width. Turns out this pair was about a half to full size larger than the last pair I owned despite getting a size 35 in Medium width. Unfortunately for me, size 34 doesnt exist. I'd suggest that if you are a TRUE US 5 (EUR 35) with a medium width foot, get a narrow width in this color..for some reason the length is shorter than the regular medium width shoe.
