Red Heart Fashion Crochet, Thread Size 3, White

Seeing as this is my first “fashion 3” thread I don’t have a lot of comparison but I will say, I’m pleased to get a natural fiber thread for such a low price. I’ve been dying to try out crochet thread and this makes it accessible. The thread itself is bright white and was packaged in enough plastic to keep it from getting stained. The softness is delightful similar to the aunt Lydia’s thread. Shine isn’t as shiny as the aunt Lydia’s but I’m looking to make ghosts so I’m happy. Great entry level thread for sure.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Soft and great quality

This thread is a bit thicker than the size 10 thread that I'm used to working with, but it seems to work good for larger-sized doily-making. I wouldn't recommend this for the smaller typical doilies or tatting, but maybe for bedspreads or runners it seems to work great. It is durable and nice quality, just not the size I use normally.

I Honeslty love this product! I use it for bracelets and the base strings of those bracelets as well. For 125 yards for around 3$ I have purchased this 3 times and it is always worth the price! The thickness is the right size for my liking and although it is quite stiff I am fine with it. The only con I had encountered was when I was making the first bracelet and the stiffness made my fingers hurt. But other than that it is quite nice. It picks up color very easily as shown in picture 3 where the multicolor thread was dyed with a tye dye kit. Overall I love this and will definitely purchase again!
