Yerba Mate Bombilla Filter Straws with Silicone Tips - 7 inches

First I'm not a yerba mate drinker, but I do drink all beverages with a straw. I like to drink tea, but it's always a pain to clean the steeper, reusable tea bag, infuser, mug with built-in steeper, etc. I also like to steep fresh ginger when I'm feeling under the weather, but don't like accidentally getting a chunk of ginger down the throat. I searched for a straw with a filter and discovered that they existed. I love love love these straws. They are great for drinking loose leave teas, ginger hot water, berry-infused water, ice water, basically anything with big particulates that you'd like to filter out while drinking. Specifically, I love these straws because they also include a silicone tip to protect your teeth and mouth from the hot metal straw (if used for tea). I've used these basically 20+ times and currently using them every day for fresh ginger tea. Cleaning is straightforward, and the straw is the perfect length for a normal coffee mug. As the cold season starts up here, this straw is going to change my hot beverage drinking life for the better.

A bombilla was gifted to me without a cleaning brush. I ordered more and they came with 2 cleaning brushes. This one is my fav because of the heatproof silicone tip and 8.3” length, and a heavier quality. Others were too short, didn’t have a similar quality to these and too close to the cup for sipping for my comfort. No more French press Yerba Mate and straining. Ever so often a scant bit of tea will come through the tiny holes but it’s not an issue. It cleans well and easily . I’ve gifted these several times! Durable.

These worked great, ordered several and shared them with friends getting into drinking yerba mate. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done.

I love that these are long enough to use with my Greens Steel Beast travel mug and the straw fits thru the mouthpiece (with a bit of pushing). I also LOVE the rubber tips that protect your lips from the burning metal when you sip hot tea. The brushes that come with are perfect for cleaning.

I bought this product to give as a Christmas gift to someone, and they really like it! It is a metal reusable straw that it is great when drinking tea leaf.

I use these for yerba mate which I drink a lot of but I also use them for bulk herb tea. The silicone tip keeps you from burning your mouth. They're extra long so you can use them with a large glass or mug. Get some; you won't be disappointed.

I never heard of these before. My friends and I stopped into a local Tearoom. I decided to try Matcha, traditional style! Served with a straw almost like these, (shorter and without the plastic piece), I wanted to purchase one from the Tearoom. They advised me, they don't sell them but Amazon does! That's where they get theirs. Loove them! Taller, so they can fit into the taller cups I like and I find they keep my hot drinks or broth hotter due to the metal conduction! And it don't have to sift out the fresh tea...I can use the tea over and over & just add water. Well worth the money, I just bought another 2 sets! That's 4 in all for me now!

These straws work okay, the filtration could be a bit finer so tea bits don’t get through. One straw arrived damaged and improperly packaged.

I guess you get what you pay for but these are pretty low quality
