ESV Illuminated Scripture Journal: Old Testament Set

I purchased both the Old Testament and New Testament collections about a year ago, and together they cover the entire Bible in ESV beautifully. First off, the presentation is stunning. When all the books are lined up, they form a rainbow that genuinely brings so much color and warmth into the room. It’s eye-catching without feeling flashy, and it makes the whole set feel special. Each book has gold engravings on the cover with a unique, thoughtful design. The craftsmanship really stands out. Every volume feels intentional and distinct, not just another mass-produced book. It’s the kind of set you’re proud to display and use daily. Functionally, it’s just as impressive. I really appreciate the space for Bible notes on the right side of the pages. The dotted lines are such a smart touch. They help keep my writing straight and neat without my sentences slowly curving down the page (which always happens to me otherwise). It makes note-taking feel natural and organized. Overall, this collection combines beauty, quality, and practicality. Whether for deep study, daily reading, or simply enjoying a well-designed Bible set, this is an amazing purchase and one I’d highly recommend.

This purchase was an investment for me, but for the first time in decades, I have read nearly the entire Old Testament this year. I find it so much easier to take the specific book I’m reading on the go, and it’s easier to read in bed too. This set makes it so much easier to be consistent with daily Bible reading. This set is gorgeous and a game-changer. I also purchased their New Testament set, and I’m reading through it for the second time now. I haven’t even written notes in the journal section but it will be great for taking sermon notes too. Love it!

I absolutely love these books. I love that each book is separated and there are blank pages for Journaling and notes. .. I am disappointed, however that the product is damaged! I ordered the new testament a few weeks ago but had no issues with it.

A stunning way to read the Bible. Beautifully printed and set out. Just check with your local Proest that it’s the right version for your faith before you buy.

Love this set! Looks great on the shelf and works for studying individual books…taking notes.

Rather than a wide margin bible, you get a page of scripture and a blank page. Fantastic for notes and ideas. The translation is not my favourite but that’s not the point. I can put my observations, objections and study notes on the blank page. This will serve you for decades. After all, 50% of the book you will write yourself. Easy to carry, assuming you only want the part that you are studying is with you, a great tool. Expensive? Yes, but this is a life long product, and having your notes in one place is so convenient.
