I painted an antique window for my mother in law - I am a professional artist but had never used stained glass paints. There is a learning curve but I was thrilled with how beautiful the outcome was, and how much it looks like genuine stained glass! IMPORTANT; you DO have to buy the liner paint (which replaces the leading used in real stained glass) IN ADDITION to this set. You have to outline your art with leading paint, dry fully, then fill in with this paint. All colors are transparent except the white.

Easy to use and clean up

Be aware when you buy these that they are NOT opaque paints! They are more like glazes. I enjoyed working with them overall, but I did find the application somewhat inconsistent. The darker colors really show your brush strokes and and anywhere the paint isn’t evenly spread, so be aware and go slow. I would recommend lots of thin layers making sure that each layer dries for 5-10 min between coats. Also, a little can go a long way depending on what you’re doing.

It took me a while to find this paint. I wanted it to paint on metal foil and needed it to be transparent but bright. This worked wonderfully. Many different colors and easy to mix to create new shades. I purchased other "glass paint" but the came as a milky color which did not look shiny and were not transparent/translucent as paint should be for glass work

I have never used glass paint before. These did not work for my project. Thin, would not blend dried very quickly. Would probably work good it you were paint a complet object not painting something on an object. I really like the brushes though.

I used it in glass and snd plaster. See how nice it looks on this, it was chipped up before. Now you can't see the chips. It was a bit challenging mixing the colors to get it to match.

Great colors for my project. Would buy again. They do dry quickly though so have a plan and cup of water handy.

Wanted some paint for anniversary present. I'm not artist but I'm happy with how it turned out this set has beautiful colours.. I added white to most colours to make them more pastel
