Good Enough for Me
I bought a pair of armored jeans to wear to ride my motorcycle. I got them home and noticed that they didn't have hip pads. I needed something small that would fit in the small inner pockets designed for a hip pad in the jeans I bought. These fit the bill, and don't move around in the inner pocket I put them in. Hitting your hip in a motorcycle accident could be a real seriously painful thing, so I bought these and inserted them. They aren't real thick, and they're kind of soft, but I'm not sure I would want a hard pad to land on for a hip pad. Overall, not bad for the money, and fit my use just right. Hopefully I'll never have to amend this review with how they stand up in an accident.

Good Product
These shoulder protectors replaced the disintegrating ones and is of better quality than what originally came with the riding jacket. Very easy to install and will protect if ever needed.

Knee pads as butt pads for skating
I’ve been using the knee pads as butt pads for ice skating for about four years. I insert them between my leggings and a pair of tight bike shorts on top of the leggings. They stay secure enough. Occasionally they shift a little, but they are easily adjustable. I like the venting holes and their shape, which conforms to my body quite well. It’s almost like I’ve got a butt lift. I also like their width, which is the widest CE pads I could find except for the back pads, which doesn’t have the shape/contour I want. My pads have broken from the edges about 2 inches long toward the center. They are several broken spots like this but they are still usable. Overall, they have have been protective for my butt. If I get a hard fall, I might still get bruised, but nothing awful. I do wish they were CE2, though. In addition, if they were a bit wider and thinner, that would be perfect.

PERFECT FOR BF JACKET
I bought this last year to put in my boyfriends riding jacket and it was the perfect size, it is still holding up well and he says it feels like there’s nothing there, I think it helps with his back support too he sits up a little straighter with it, super light weight and not too bulky but just enough that I feel a little better having him out on the road. I love the man, gotta keep him safe❤️

Comfortable and unobtrusive.
I bought some great riding pants, Ironworks, but the knee armor was very hard on my bony knees and made the pants look ugly. I bought this Surlim armor, it is very soft and flexible, slipped right into the pockets without any need for any thing else to keep it located and now they are very comfortable to wear. Great product.

Good venting but rate dependent properties are questionable
These pads seem to have a better venting design than some of the bigger brands. Lots of holes and some channels on the front should help. Some channeling on the back side where they contact the wearer might help further increase the feel of venting. The material is from a company called Sinopolymat. Their website lists the Evo E/K armor as having a 20.36kN transmitted impact force, which does pass the CE level 1 test (threshold is 35kN). Thinner orange pads transmit ~15kN on the same test. Some informal testing by dropping a weight onto these and other pads showed that these allow the weight to bounce a lot more than others. Some orange pads and other black pads that I have didn't exhibit much or any bounce at all with the same weight dropped from the same height. You can also feel the difference by hand. The lack of slow rebound effect makes these pads feel a little more flexible than my orange or black pads. These are probably fine for less critical areas and where venting is a higher priority than maximum protection.

I bought these to go in my Aldi motorcycle jeans, which have pockets for hip pads but no hip pads. These pads are not really noticeable and hopefully would do the job in a slide. I have no way to perform tests to see how they'd perform in real life. Pricier than I'd like but there's not much choice for Australian buyers.
