This is a really super great case! It is sturdy and I do not fear it falling apart. It has a lot of room inside to store several accessories. For example, I have my shoulder rest, a cloth for wiping the rosin off my strings, two tuners, two things of rosin, a small bottle of polishing solution, a polishing cloth, and my practice mute. I also store two bows in there with the violin. The case has a hard handle on it for carrying, but it also comes with straps. One can use it like a backpack on both shoulders or connect only one strap to carry it over one shoulder. It has a zipper, a metal clasp lock, and magnetic closure so I feel the violin is secure. There is also a velcro strap on the next of the violin to keep it in place. It comes with a tube for your extra strings as well. Lastly, the top unzips so that you can store your music and carry that with the violin. Overall, a really great case. If you're trying to decide between their cheaper version and upgrading to this one, definitely upgrade. I purchased the cheaper one initially, but within a week the strap ripped off the back. I am happy with this case.

I love this professional sturdy violin case. I played the violin in the middle school and early high school years. So for many years I have been wanting to start playing the violin again. I figure I would start with the case that way when I start looking for my violin I would not have to immediately find a case to protect it. This is a premium case, and it is lined with this soft blue velvet lining. It is a hard case that will protect even the most vintage violin out there. it also has this neat thing that can measure the humidity in the case it's self. A hygrometer /ha'''r'm't'r/ is an instrument used for measuring the moisture content in the atmosphere. Humidity measurement instruments usually rely on measurements of some other quantity such as temperature, pressure, mass or a mechanical or electrical change in a substance as moisture is absorbed. By calibration and calculation. measured quantities can lead to a measurement of humidity.It also has a lock to keep your violin safe. It doesalso have very roomy compartments for you to store all of your grear. The leather handle is very stury and flexible at the same time. THIS is a fabulous case! Very sturdy, and hard to keep your violin safe! It has a very lovely, soft lining inside with a bunch of cubby holes for all your essentials. I have carried this with me when traveling up north and it has kept my violin safe every time! I love that it has a lock to keep everything safe as well. I put the key on my key chain to always have it with me. It has a very nice sturdy material on the outside and again, the inside is so soft and plush and great for keeping my violin safe. Not only does it zip up, it clips and then snaps shut, so you never have to worry about it flying open while driving down the road or anywhere else. It comes with a nice strap as well to hoist it over your shoulder. I would definitely recommend this case! Great quality! It's a great price too!

I hope it will hold up for a while. For the price it's a good case and don't let the negatives turn you away right away. I knew it would not be the most perfect after researching a lot of these cases in my price range. For the price you get a case that protects your violin, fits any shoulder rest, tuner, rosin, and bows. The storage really is quite good and all the music fit into the large music pocket too. One of the feet was loose and the hygrometer is not really working, but I think that goes for most of them as they are glued onto the lid (in this price range anyway) and the sensor is on the bottom, so they really can't work. I also don't like how the music pocket rolls up at the edges - it looks sloppy and I'm sure the edges will tear sooner or later. Inside is nice and soft and looks great.

I bought this violin case for my younger sister who is just starting to learn to play and borrowing an old violin of mine, which had a very old case. I know what goes into a good violin case and this met pretty much all of my qualifications. It's made of a sturdy material, with canvas over the hard case. The zippers are okay quality, but it is occasionally difficult to zip up. The clasp is metal and has a key that comes with it. Not great quality, but it adds a little security. The case comes with two straps so that you can wear it as a backpack or with a single strap. The straps are adjustable and have nice pads for comfort. The inside of the case is very nice with blue velvet. There's two very large compartments, both of which could easily hold a shoulder rest. There's a tiny little one where the neck would rest, but I honestly don't know what you would put in there, a piece of rosin wouldn't even fit, it's about an inch and a half square. The portion that holds that actual violin is nice, it fits a 4/4 violin snugly (I tried it on both my violin and my sister's), and has extra padding in the body. It includes a pad to go over the violin too. The bow-holders are pretty standard, with silk ribbon backing in a lighter blue.The one thing I didn't like was that it didn't have a velcro strap to wrap around the neck of the violin for added security. It has some leather-ish strings that you could tie around the neck, but that's not really practical for everyday use. I did put the violin in without tying the strings, closed the case, and shook it, but the violin didn't move.One other note, I was pretty disappointed in the shipping. When it arrived, it looked like the box had been through the ringer, but that's not entirely the fault of the maker. I was concerned that it might be damaged, but the case itself was wrapped in plastic as well. There was a small scrape on the canvas that I couldn't get rid of entirely. But I figured since my sister is ten years old, it was only a matter of time before there were more to match.Would still definitely recommend.
