These scratch pads are great. Our older cats likes them better than our younger cat -- not sure why but both cats use it. The only drawback is the orange ball in the larger piece. Our younger cat still has that "kitten curiosity" and tries for hours to get that orange ball out, to the point where he gets frustrated, so I just turn it upside down and it's fine. The older cat could care less about the orange ball. I would still purchase this set again.

So I got this April of 23 and my cats still use and love them. One cat loves it more than the rest. She scratches it every single time I go downstairs and then lays on top of it. This is an everyday occurrence! They didn’t play with the ball tho. They seem to like the inside/smaller piece better. But either way I’m purchasing another for them today!

My twin cats absolutely love this!They claimed it almost immediately and started scratching away! I don't mind the mess it makes (it's cardboard pieces all over) I'll just sweep every evening before I go to bed.They are much happier, have fun with the ball that comes with it, sturdy and build quality is lasting so far so good.Your cats will have fun too. Not much to say... it's cardboard!! My cat freaking loves it lol. In all seriousness though I appreciate getting more than one piece for what I paid. It's a good value. It is also nice that they can stack. I live in a small apartment do we don't always have space for small things. The little plastic ball is great. She enjoys that and it was really nice receiving a bit of catnip with the package to place in the cardboard. That helped my new cat adjust to her scratching areas. She hasn't scratched anything else since. Thanks for saving my couch and curtains
