The best knives you can have in an amateur kitchen, really sharp, that’s important for a good cut. Really easy to get on with, fits good in your hand, in my opinion cannot be beaten, it’s even got a sharp price.

We need a new carving knife, and I dithered between a proper knife or an electric version. We went for the Paudin in the end, because it seemed to be good quality and had pretty good reviews. My husband has just used it for the first time, and has commented multiple times on how sharp (aka effective) it is. He had even said that he's not sure I should be let loose with it, as I have a track record of finger slicing with a variety of implements! Hopefully it will remain sharp, and give us many years of Sunday roasts, carved to perfection! We have decided to hand wash it, and retain the storage box it came in, but it does have a protective sleeve for the blade, should you wish to add it to your knife drawer.

Bought for my folks it came today and on unboxing I noticed a sheath my dad tried putting it on the blade but it was tight so I had a go the blade sliced clean through the sheath and into my thumb only a slight nick but it went deep and bled for an hour or so,I’d say a very sharp knife just be careful with that Ill fitting sheath don’t try to put it on the blade

A quality knife that is very sharp (I have the scars to prove it!) Haven't needed to sharpen it yet, after daily use for three months. Carves meat well and slices through vegetables as if they are butter. It has a reassuring weight to it while not too heavy. I store it in its sheath in the sturdy box it arrived in, to preserve the blade, and carefully hand wash only. Makes light work of the Sunday roast with perfect, even slices every time.

Looks great but it is a Christmas present so not tried out yet sure it will be good

This carving knife definitely did the job to carve the turkey on Chicken day. Would definitely recommend.
