This has truly been a time saver. I have been remodeling an old (1944) house and nothing was built level originally but this has allowed us to put things back level hand has never been off when being checked with a traditional all level. One of the biggest examples of time saving is when we had to put up new curling joist in the office room and we just set it up and put the joist in and it shot the line in a box around the room. Been pretty tough too as I have dropped it off the ladder a couple times and no issues. Great battery life spans too. I looked quite a while before buying this model for value and it has been great.

I know this is a little bit of an older model. I broke the first one by dropping it off of a scissor lift 20 feet in the air.. this is such a good laser. I had to buy it again.

Working great for laying out my foundation for my 16 x 24 slab.Accuracy is very good and was checked against absolute measure.Mine is easily level within 1/16" at 30 feet.I am using it outdoors.You really need to wait till dusk or in heavy shade to do this at any distance outdoors, but it is many times cheaper than the models designed to work outdoors.If you can work with it in the dusk, you could easily use it for septic lines, garage and even house foundations, slabs and floors quite successfully as well as the interior layout it is designed for.

We have used this several times, primarily for installing a full set of kitchen cabinets and also a bath vanity. It was very helpful in finding the correct starting height for both the upper and lowers and also helpful in ensuring the entire set of cabinets were level even when spanning gaps for the range and fridge. We have also used this to get elevations outdoors but as others have suggested, that is something best done in low light situations, near dusk worked for us.It would be helpful to have some type of adjustability when just using the magnet to mount the device. The ceiling grid option has that but we simply attached the magnet mount to our refrigerator and it took some time to get it to the correct height.

This is an excellent product for the price. The laser is a little dim in bright light but no to the point of not being able to see and follow the line. Fairly accurate with respect to it's ability to project a level line in an 11 x 10 room.I accidentally dropped this from 9 feet onto a concrete floor. I was expecting a broken laser or some other issue but to my surprise it functioned as expected. The only con is that this laser level has to be placed at the height you want to project a 360 degree line. If you need a line on the wall at 3 feet then this laser has to be placed at 3 feet.

Was not a new product, but was a factory reconditioned one. I am not sure if I will keep it!

The pictures show a hard case with mounting brackets and a square measuring plate, yet you only get a pouch with the level and a stand. Not what I thought I was getting. I guess I should have read the description rather than trusting that the pictures they provided were accurate. Way deceive people!Other than the misleading pictures, the laser is great. I do not use a laser detector or the laser outside, so I can't speak on the negative comments written on that, but for inside use, the laser is great and has a long reach. it is pretty stable and well-made for the price. The only negative I have found is that the laser does not lock 100% when it is off. You can hear and see a little movement, but not much. The price is still a little less than home depot or lowes, even without the add-ons, but having to wait long for it and not getting what I thought I was, was not enough savings to have waited so long for me.
