My favourite kitchen appliance, want one in every colour.
I have a bit of an obsession with kitchen aid stand mixers (I have 2 and looking to buy a couple more). Some people collect stamps, I collect kitchen aid mixers lol They make so many beautiful colours it's hard to settle with just one. I ended up getting the "sparkly" white one, sparkly might not be the best choice of words it's more of a shiny white colour which looks really good in my all white kitchen (not as dull as the plain white one), also love the glass bowl. The girl in me really wanted the hot pink one but I knew it wouldn't look as good in my kitchen. As you probably already know this stand mixer has a lot of cool features. I love everything about them, my only pet peeve is when I am pouring my dry ingredients the opening is not very large and I often end up spilling flour on the mixer or the counter. The Pro series have a larger bowl likely eliminating that issues, also good if you want to make a larger batch. The bowls are interchangeable too so if you want a metal one instead you can purchase separately or vice versa. I use mine mainly for baking and I love it, it works well, it's durable and best of all it's easy to clean.

It's PINK, what more can I say? I love it!
Besides the color that makes this so great, it really has been awesome for me. I make large batches of cookie dough, very frequently, although it does fit a triple batch for me, but it's quite full, too full for it to be convenient, and it seems like it puts too much strain on the "motor" and slows it down. The glass bowl is quite heavy, because it is so large and heavy, it's almost hard for me to pour stuff out of the bowl (partly because I'm shorter, so I can't lift the bowl as high as I'd like to, and it's even harder when it's full), so intend to get the stainless steel one, as well as an attachment that wipes the sides of the bowl clean while mixing. Another thing I've noticed is again, because I'm not quite as tall, when I set the bowl on my table (not a counter, like when I pour something out), and try to pull my dough out, the bowl is so tall that I have to stand on my tip-toes, and even then it's hard tor reach to the bottom of the bowl, and the base of the bowl is more narrow, so I almost pull it over. I still give it 5 stars, because it's so much more convenient for me, it's my favorite color, and it really is a great piece in my kitchen for almost anything I make from scratch.

Love this beautiful appliance--the antique copper color is awesome!
So far, I'm really thrilled with this mixer. I've never done a lot of baking, so I wasn't sure if this was necessary. But so far in the last week since I received the mixer (as well as the pasta press and extruder attachments) I've made two batches of fabulous fresh pasta that my husband, who's Italian, LOVED. It mixed, kneeded, and pressed the most wonderful pasta in a short amount of time. I have since received the meat/vegetable grinder, slicer, and sausage filler attachments and can't wait to make fresh, homemade sausage and other ground meats and vegetables. One note: I love the antique copper color. It is very unique, and the only one with a "crackle" finish. It was also the only one on Amazon listed at $279--the lowest of any of the colors (some of which went up to over $400.) It looks great in my kitchen, and I'm really happy with the total purchase. Although I could have bought the 600 series (taller) since I have a center island where I don't need to worry about height, I chose this model for a variety of reasons. Looking forward to making sausage and other great food with this mixer and the attachments.

The best thing ever!
I don't like this thing....... I LOVE it! Of course I've never had one before so I might not know as much as some but I do love it. I first ordered a bigger motor pull up model. Before it was delivered I happen to see one in a local store and realized that there was no way this thing would fit on my counter. I live in a small cabin (we own a campground) and I have zero counter space let alone storage space. So I sent that one back when it was delivered. I thought maybe I would just get a better handheld mixer but I just couldn't stop wanting a kitchenaid stand mixer. I found this one and it sounded perfect. Not as strong a motor but also not as tall nor heavy. I received it about four days ago. I am now a baking fool! I've already made three cakes, 2 different kinds of cookies, four loaves of breads and a double batch of pizza dough. Wow, my husband will need to go on the biggest loser soon. This model is certainly strong enough to handle bread dough with the dough hook, easy for cakes and cookies. I did order the extra Flex Edge Beater and used it today to make one of my cakes. Love it!I was worried it would be complicated or more of a pain to set up and use and then clean up after using. It really isn't. As a matter of fact it makes everything so much easier to do and so easy to clean up. I love the glass bowl and you can't believe how quiet it is. A handmixer is so loud but this is very quiet. I love this thing. I want to make everything now.I really can't tell you just how much I'm enjoying using it.

Amazon had the best deal on this! I love it :)
I love it! The color is beautiful and I got a great price (about 270 with amazon prime card sign up and that included a 3 year warranty). Motor works great, glass bowl is beautiful and fits perfectly on the base and the main attachments don't scrape the sides of the bowl (I've seen reviews that read that's a problem with glass bowls). I've wanted one for over 10 years but didn't want to pay a fortune, wanted a pretty color like this, wanted a glass bowl, an extended warranty and the Artisan model. So this is the first time I found one that satisfied all of those stipulations. No compromises! At the same time this same one was at Macy's for $400+...Amazoning!
