In 2020 I bought four of these wheels. They are still used daily in my teaching studio - thepottershouse.scot they sit in amongst, Shimpo and Bailey wheels and hold their own. They are robust and great for teaching on with the digital screen for speed. These wheels have had a tough life in my studio with relentless classes and I cannot fault them. For the price you get left and right handed throwing, pedal or hand control a water cup and a batt. they will they are relatively quiet. negative if you use too much water, they leak a little. not a game changer really... learn to use water efficiently. It is a great potters wheel, and spare parts can be purchased from Airgoo EU. HAPPY POTTING.

Sturdy, easy to use, electric wheel. Use of pedal or handy knob to control wheel speed. Able to throw easily. Fairly quiet. Not easy to clean and attached bowl comes in two parts, doesn’t quite fit snuggly and tends to leak. Bit of a fiddle but overall I’d recommend for practice and anyone starting out.

Ok I haven’t used the wheel yet but I can tell you that it’s sturdy. I was quite dubious about getting this as the price was so reasonable, need to wait for my husband to get home so we can lift it up the stairs together as the box is heavy. I’ve looked inside and I’m impressed at the quality so far. The wheel is a good size and the plastic detachable tray is also good quality. Also comes with a detachable bat which I hadn’t noticed when I ordered it. Really looking forward to trying it out 😊

The wheel runs true and the housing feels sturdy - splash guard also feels sturdy and is easy to remove for cleaning. The foot pedal is like that on a sewing machine not as potters wheels I have used previously in that you cannot just set a speed and take your foot off - but the knob digital control to set the speed works well and just as easy once you get used to it. The motor housing so close to the splash guard makes the working space feel a bit cramped - but a great starter wheel - and overall very good value.

This wheel is a fantastic piece of kit, as a newcomer to pottery it fits my needs entirely! The wheel was delivered well packaged, and it was very easy to assemble. I was surprised at how heavy it was to lift; that’s not to say it’s difficult, just that it feels a very healthy weight for something that will be receiving a lot of pushing and pulling! I’ve been able to make a number of pots and vases with this wheel (some more lob sided than others!!) and it’s enabled me to pursue my love of ceramics outside my ceramics class! I use this wheel on a TINGBY side table from IKEA, along with a gold out chair from IKEA and it’s the perfect height for steadying the wheel between your knees! I also don’t use the wheels or the bottom panel on the tingby, instead I only use the legs directly on the floor and I use the bottom panel of the tingby for setting my pieces on to dry! But if you’re in the market for a potters wheel and you’re unsure of the “cheaper” wheels out there like this one, I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed with this purchase!

Please do not buy this product it is not fit for purpose. Not working properly after one month. I would like my money back or a wheel that works. The wheel has slowed down and not fast enough now to thow pottery. Funny says can't return after a month I wander why??????

This is a very solid wheel. The foot pedal is a bit rubbish (if you are used to Shimpo); I don’t use it. My main problem is that it doesn’t spin true; it moves up/down and left/right which makes it near impossible to centre. And if I do manage it, the clay won’t stay centred. As I am outside the 30 days return period I am trying to sort out a return with the seller.

Ottima macchina, stabile e costante anche a bassi regimi. Unica cosa che potrebbe essere migliorata è il pedale, è sensibile e abbastanza facile da dosare ma sarebbe preferibile che tenesse la velocità anche senza dover tenere il piede sopra costantemente. Non è il solito tornietto cinesino che dopo due minuti di uso comincia a puzzare di cinghia bruciata! Nell'insieme un'ottimo tornio con prestazioni al di sopra di quella fascia di prezzo. Consigliatissimo a principianti e a professionisti che necessitino di una macchina versatile e leggera da trasportare.

Diese kleine, mobile Töpfescheibe kann mobil eingesetzt werden, ist platzsparend einfach wegzuräumen und lässt sich einfach bedienen. Im Einsatz läuft sie solide und tut genau, ws sie soll. Mehr muss man dazu nicht sagen. 5 Sterne von mir!

J'ai regardé beaucoup de commentaires avant de me lancer pour l'achat d'un tour sans pacer par la case chinoise qui on le voit un peu partout nest pas incroyable(peu stable,bruyant ect..)Même si l'on commence le tournage je ne pense pas qu'il faut pour autant acheter du bas de gamme,c'est comme si vous voulez apprendre la guitare avec un jouet pour enfant,pas ouf.Ce tour était le bon compromis car toujours bien moins chère que les tours professionnels et fonctionne parfaitement bien.Pour m'a part n'ayant pas encore essayé de tour de marque plus connu(et plus chère)j'ai trouvé la pédale un peu petite mais avec le temps je m'y suis bien fait malgré sa taille un peu petite mais on peut reduire ou augmenter la vitesse avec lhabitude sans trop de difficulté(le cadran digital qui indique sa vitesse aide beaucoup)Niveau qualité de matériaux c'est lourd et on sent que c'est de la qualité.Le rondeau en platique qui est fourni avec et sympa pour ceux qui aime tourné sur du lisse,après de la à tourner des assiettes dessus j'ai un doute pour les retirer après même avec le séchage attention^^ Sinon au niveau mécanisme je ne les pas ouvert mais il fonctionne comme une horloge.Et le must have son bruit très très discret tellement agréable. Pour conclure je ne peut que vous le conseiller pour debuter ou non car il convient aussi aux expert sans aucun doute mais vous ne pourrez pas dépasser les 5kg je pense.Ce tour m'accompagne au quotidien et je ne suis pas prêt de m'en séparer
