Preethi Eco Plus Mixer Grinder, White, 3 Jar

Well, I can't say how satisfied our entire family is with this mixer grinder. It is well built. The motor has overload protection feature. And the stainless steel jars are very well made. The lids slide into and out of the jars seamlessly. It'll be two years this September since we bought it and is still running great. The quality is almost as good as the grinders that we get in India. All Indians in USA should know that the quality of the Indian grinders we get here is not on par with what we get in India. Again, before buying this grinder, I bought a piece of junk called Preethi Blue Leaf from East West USA Store, fulfilled by Amazon and that grinder is in this link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004XO1JZE/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Stay away from it in USA unless you know that you are buying it shipped and sold by Amazon or at least fulfilled by Amazon, so that you can be sure that you can return it with no questions asked in case you get a piece of junk like how we got. I'm lucky I bought that as fulfilled by Amazon. Otherwise it would have been $170 down the drain. We were so dejected with that item that we hesitated to buy any grinder for our Indian Kitchen for a while until my mother from India advised us that we can't go wrong with this Eco Plus Grinder. Took her advise and bought it. No worries since then. To name a few, we make: 1. Idly batter, 2. Various kinds of Dosa batters like Minapattu, Pesarattu Guntur Style, Thick Pesarattu North Coastal Andhra Style 3. Gravies for Koormas, Mutter Paneer, etc 4. All kinds of Andhra chutnies like Beerakaya chutney, Vankaaya chutney, Gongura chutney, Tomato chutney, Palli chutney for Dosa and Idly, Mixed Palli-Putnaalu-Kobbari chutney for Dosa and Idly, Kobbari pacchadi for white rice, Kandhi pacchadi (a Guntur delicacy made from roasted toor daal), 5. Various powders like Sambar Powder, Chaaru Powder, Nuvvula podi, my Mother's Special Podi for Vankaaya koora, Putnaala podi, Kamma podi, Gunturu Kaarappodi.... You name it, we make it. The same stuff I used to enjoy in my good old Guntur in India. Thanks to Amazon for bringing a smile on all our faces here in USA. I bought it sold and shipped by Amazon unlike some other unlucky buyers who got their hands burnt by dealing with General Elect, Gandhi Electronics etc. They are all con and scam artists. Perfect for Indian kitchen. Noise level is on par with other grinders. I expect it to be durable based on the number of households using it — 1 crore plus. We have tried green chutney, coconut chutney, green chili paste, ginger paste so far and have come out better than expected. We also have Vitamix grinder and this beats it for every item that we have tried so far. Material is plastic and is comparable to other mixies.

Received in good condition. Mixer motor and jars are good quality, recommended the product. I have been using it for last 2 years, couple of times jars had some issue, fixed those jars with provided additional accessories, other than that it's doing good job if used correctly.

The blender is good till the time it works. Mine stopped working after six months. I followed the manual to the T but it stopped working despite of that.

Highly essential for Indian kitchens. It meets our expectations. Working well as expected and no issues so far. Worth for money. Stable power output and noice level is fine.

Pros: It can be easily repaired. Best for lightweight usage. One of the Indian Blenders. Stainless steel jars when compared to typical plastic flimsy jars. Cons: Light quality cannot be used for heavy operations, such as Ninja. The blades need to be redesigned, the blades are flimsy and pretty simple, and need to have more leaves on the blades. Not grinding completely as the blades are too low for crushing. When I grinded masala, the cardamom, ginger and garlic are not crushed completely. The lids are not spill-resistant, so you have to hold the lid. The quality of the stainless steel (jar and blades) can be upgraded, as it is too delicate and thin and flimsy metal. Update : I attempted to grind about one pound of mustard seeds into a fine powder. Initially, the blender performed well, but as the grinding progressed, the motor began to struggle and eventually shut off. This suggests that the 550-watt motor is suitable only for light, short-duration grinding and not for prolonged or heavy loads. Based on this experience, I have concerns about the unit’s ability to handle dense tasks such as batter grinding without placing excessive stress on the motor. For future upgrades, I would recommend considering a higher-wattage motor to better support heavy-duty and extended grinding applications.

This Mixer Grinder is good as we can grind rice for dosa, idli. vada, meat etc. We also get some spare items to replace. All 3 jars are strong with good blades. It is not loud noise machine. It is an eco friendly machine.

I love, love, LOVE my new kitchen toy. I killed our blender and our food processor is on its last leg. A friend of mine recommended the Preethi and I am so impressed already! I made some spruce tip salt and spruce tip sugar today and it minced up the tips like nothing. Absolutely love the ease of use and I am so happy it came with some spare parts. What western company sends you spare parts with your purchase? None that I can think of! You need this in your life! I’m vegan and I just know this is going to make the BEST cashew sour cream.
