Married To My Enemy (Book 1)

This book absolutely blew me away!! Logan’s writing continues to amaze me , with each book I continually say “ This is my favorite read of his” BRIDE is filled with just the right amount of angst and plot twists and suspense that you will not see coming, leaving you absolutely in awe. This story will have you guessing and trying to figure out what’s going to happen next and a who’s who thrown in there also. The hints are there (I think lol ) but now to try to piece it together, I just love how Logan gives us, just enough, and then we’re left trying to figure everything out which is something he is so well known for and keeping us so immersed into his amazing storytelling. I love how we see a side of Gabriel that he hides with most people but Clementine has a way that can make him break his walls down every so often. Clementine is a force to be reckoned with, she’s strong willed and the banter between Gabriel and her is at times hysterical. Gabriel has met his match with Clementine.... she is nothing at all like anyone he is used to dealing with, and Clementine is not going to bow down and make life easy for him. As much as they try to deny it, the chemistry between Clementine and Gabriel can set your e-Readers on Fire . I couldn’t put this book down, it pulled me in from page one until the end..... and what an ending we get, bravo Logan with this perfectly written ending and leaving us even more anxious for the conclusion with Groom, We also get to hear from another character of Logan’s in a previous book of his, and that was such a great surprise. I highly recommend you one click this ASAP you will not be disappointed with this brilliantly written story I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars it more than earned it. Ok I’ll be rocking in my little corner now waiting for Groom to release. Lol

Loved it! Couldn’t put it down! I’m jumping right into the next book and looking forward to it. I love Gaberiel & Clementine. Clem is such a strong woman with the biggest heart. I was very impressed with this story. Can’t wait to jump into the next one

"She’s the flame and I’m the idiotic little moth flying straight toward her." Bride is the first book in the Deceit duet and it was such a thrilling read. I read it in one sitting, it had everything I am looking for in a romance story: a sympathetic heroine, a strong and irresistible hero, emotional tension and a believable plot. Gabriel Prince never intended to get married, he has dedicated his life to building an empire and a name for himself. But in order to keep everything he has worked so hard for Gabriel has to tie the knot with a woman his grandfather picked for him. Both him and Clementine, his future bride and the woman who pushes all his buttons and drives him crazy, don’t have a choice in the mater. Their lives seem bound together, at least for a year. Clem accepts the arranged marriage but with her own stipulations. She will be his wife but only on paper, nothing will ever happen between them. The story develops quickly. The plot was interesting, with some turn of events that kept me intrigued until the last page. I loved how the action unfolded, the secrets, the suspense and the sizzling chemistry between the protagonists. Every interaction between them was intense. Gabriel tries to control his feelings for Clementine as much as possible but when he gives in to those emotions the two of them together are explosive. The book ended with a surprising cliffhanger that left me wondering what was really going on. I’m happy the second installment of the duet is already out because I need to know what happens next soooo badly!

"Bride" has many WOW factors that kept my attention until the brain twister heart-pounding conclusion. A page-turner read with slow-burning sensual moments, humor and emotional moments making this a soul-stirring read. I love when a story has mysterious facets that have me yearning for more. Gabriel Prince billionaire questions his grandfather's will request. He must marry Clementine a childhood friend is what the will states. Gabriel is a built charismatic man who needs control over everything in his life. Clementine is no pushover and has her own set of rules. She's a single mom of an adorable boy and a well sought after wedding cake designer. Fever-hot desires weigh heavy in the air, and mysteries need solving. Spectacular read, with a full cast of powerful engaging characters and fabulous vivid scene descriptions. The chemistry between Gabriel and Clementine sparks. The author has done a brilliant job creating this read. I so look forward to reading Groom to learn how these two get their happily ever after.

Gabriel & Clementine- I went into this book blind and did not realize it continued in book 2. As I was getting further into the book, I thought there just isn't enough time so I was pleasantly surprised that it continues on. I am enjoying this series and getting some backstory on Dean Maddox as I have read some of the other books with him in it before these. I really enjoy this author's writing style and how the books just flow so effortlessly. Looking forward to the next books in this series.

I started reading this book because I loved Taken and there was a sneak peek in the end of it. Best decision ever!!! I’m in love with the characters and their relationship: it’s sexy, funny, secretive, they fight for control. I’m addictive. Can’t wait to start reading the sequel!! Loved it!!

Oooh well, I was got hooked on that first chapter! I loved Clementines sass, she’s not overly stubborn, but she still speaks her mind and doesn’t let herself be walked over. She’s seems like a really great person. Gabriel🥵 just damn hot lol doesn’t seem like a bad person at all, just a loner really. I loved that he never had any disgust towards Tenny, and I love how he figured out quickly how much Clem affects him😍 Very very interesting cliff hanger, onto the next straight away. Loving your work Logan👌🏽

Bride had me captivated from the beginning and has not let go. I was so immersed in the story that when it ended I was frantically swiping for more! Groom cannot come quickly enough, I need to know what happens between Clementine and Gabriel. Logan Chance writes these characters in a way that has you picturing them so easily in your mind. They have it all - witty banter, tension filled exchanges, pent up sexual frustration, moments of longing and need for each other. Their chemistry is undeniable and I cannot wait for the two of them to admit it and give in to it! Bride is a scintillating book and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Interesting and good story line but the main character seems to have 1 word in his vocabulary. Adult content I understand but this 1 word puncturing the story does not make for good reading. It would be nice to follow the story without having to skip pages so often.

What could possibly be the ultimate reason for Joseph Prince to set an arranged marriage between his grandson Gabriel and Clementine, his nurse's sister, dead some years ago? Bride sets a spiderweb of conspiracies interwoven between the characters, while the hate and lust between Clementine and Grabriel burns them from the inside out.
