For the longest time, I was using an old picnic blanket to protect the inner carpet of my trunk from getting dirty. The blanket would always shift and sometimes get caught in the closure and cause issues. I just didn't want to shell out the money for a 'custom' mat from the dealership.I randomly came across this trunk mat while looking for a new sun shield. It's not "cheap" but at the same time, it's rather inexpensive for what it is (compared to if I got one from the dealership). I just took a chance since I could return it if it didn't work out. Upon receiving, I was a bit skeptical at first since it comes rolled in a box. Instructions say to lay flat in the sun, I just unrolled it and left it in the garage for a few hours, then put it in my trunk just to see if it fit. At first some of the edges were a little warped and misshapen, but it fit pretty snug in my trunk. Was pretty happy so I just put all my stuff back into the trunk. After a week or so (maybe from sitting in the heat) any parts that seemed a little bent out of shape kind of fixed itself. No strong smell to the plastic.This trunk liner has been in my car for a couple months now and I love it! I no longer have to worry about the inside getting muddy/dirty/sandy or the carpet getting messed up from my family throwing or pushing things in the back. It's also a little grippy so if I have a cooler in the back, it won't slide around while I drive. The liner never shifts and stays put.Wish I found this insert sooner!

Perfect fit for my 2015 level2, This and the addition of the cargo net was not only cost effective, but really dressed up the rear compartment. The precision cut liner fits perfectly. Makes me smile every time I open the hatch.

Fits 2013 Prius perfectly. A suitable alternative to OEM.

Economical rubber cargo floor liner. Not quite a perfect fit for the rear of my Toyota Prius but it was OK.

It fitted perfectly. I was concerned slightly originally reading the review about the cheap plastic material, but the plastic is very thick. I have weather tech floor mats for the rest of the floor in the car, and the difference is that weather tech floor mats has borders standing up more rigidly, as well as the material is also more rigid (less bending). But the thickness is about the same in both, and less rigidly standing borders is actually an advantage here, as they provide a no-gap fit at the cargo perimeter. And it costs over twice less than the weather tech cargo mat. I am very happy with it.

I ordered this product to protect the rear cargo area of my 2014 prius. It arrived rolled up tight, and I had concerns that it wouldn't flatten out easily, but these were unfounded. Following the directions, I left it out in the sun to help it regain it's origin shape. I placed a few weighted items on the corners to help, but this might have been unnecessary.The next day I brought it inside and it was perfectly flat. It installed easily and fit my Prius cargo area very well. The surface of the liner is textured in such a way as to help prevent items from slipping during transit. No downsides as far as I can tell. Recommended!

The cargo mat fit well - not perfect, in our 2010 Prius. The material is thick and appears to be durable. The tall edges work great for containing dirt and wet items.
