UnoCardio 1000 Fish Oil is a great value given the third party testing, and the fact that Vitamin D is included. I take two daily and they are easy to swallow with a citrusy smell and no taste (no awful fish flavored belching). I haven't really found a better value given the price, dosing, and quality. I take fish oil for cardiovascular health and these help with keeping my cholesterol in check.

I continue to come back to this product for its high concentration of high-quality fish oil. Best of all is there is zero fishy taste. Each pill is individually packaged for freshness. I would highly recommend.

UPDATE: I love this fish oil! I am allergic to shellfish so this is one of the few I can even try, because there is no shellfish in it. After taking this for 8 weeks, it has lowered my triglycerides by 300 points and for the first time in 5 years my triglycerides and my cholesterol is normal! I will continue taking it! I am changing my review to 5 stars! This seems good - I am taking it because I need to lower my cholesterol and I can't take other fish oils with shellfish in them (allergic). Hopefully when I go have my bloodwork done at the end of June, my levels will be down to normal. They were slightly elevated the last time I went, so that's when I found this product. Tolerated well. No bad aftertastes, no burping, etc.

As most of you already know these Unocardio 1000 fish oil softgels are the highest quality on the market tested by independent research firms. This is precisely why I buy them. They come with 1300mg of wild caught, Friend of the Sea Certified triglyceride fish oil of which 1180mg is omega-3. Another thing to note is that they come with a nice orange citrus flavor on the outside of the softgels so there is no unpleasant taste or odor before swallowing like with some other lesser brands. Also notable is that this is also natural and not artificial flavoring. This new long, flat blue packaging is a bit less appealing than the older rectangular white with orange packaging but they still come encased in an easy to break open foil covered plastic. Update 9/17/21: The packaging cards these come in are supposed to be perforated so you can tear off strips of 5 pills but the last few boxes of these that I received don't have the cards stamped all the way into the plastic/foil and I have to cut them with scissors. It's inconvenient...

I did experience better overall health when taking these. I also took other sups at the time. I did think it helped. East to take. Tip put the, in the Fridge. Felt better.

Although the jury is out on the effectiveness of fish oil for many ailments, there are enough studies out there to suggest it has some benefits (according the the research on ConsumerLab) and is worth taking. I purchased this because I was looking for a good two in one pill that combined fish oil with the proven benefits of Vitamin D. This was also highly recommended by body hacking guru Tim Ferriss. The fish oil has a great concentration/ratio of DHA/EPA and is sustainably sourced. For the most part, I don't get any fishy burps or aftertaste with this product like I have with other fish oils. Although it could just be the placebo effect, I feel healthier taking this product - get sick less and when I do it's for a shorter duration. Although it's a bit pricey compared to similar products, it's the best I've found and I will continue to take it. Recommended.

These are the best Omega fish oil pills I have tried. After looking thru rating sites, like LabDoor, Consumer’s Reports, and Consumer Lab, this is what I chose to try out. Remember, when trying out any Omega supplement that it takes an average of six weeks to three months consistent use to see benefits. I love that they use some citrus flavoring to help with any fishy problems. I can honestly say that despite having a sensitive stomach, these do not make me have fishy burps. I do always take these just before a lite breakfast (including other fats to help with absorption) and I think that eating helps too. These folks have a couple varieties and they are some of the most highly rated. WHC’s oil comes from fish sustainably farmed, not wild caught. While these pills may seem expensive at first, take a look at how much a cheaper brand would cost you to get the same amount of product and just how many pills you have to take to get the recommended daily dose of 1k. I used to take a different brand, that sounded like it was from Scandinavia, however, these work so much better to help keep my joints pain free. Since most people living in the northern half of the US don’t get enough Vitamin D, I also appreciate that they have added that, one less pill to take. Other things to appreciate include: vegetarian (no bovine in the capsule gel), one a day (not 2-3), rTG form, not from tuna (an endangered species), and so on.
