The only thing that works for teeth grinding headaches
The only thing that has worked for my teeth grinding-morning-headaches that I’ve literally had all my life. I’ve tried sooooo many of the ones you mold to your teeth and they never work, they’re too thick, uncomfortable and in some cases has knocked my jaw out of place while I was asleep. I’ve even had one custom made from a dentist and couldn’t use it because it was so uncomfortable. These are so easy to just slip in before sleeping. They stay in and they’re comfortable enough for me to not take them out in the middle of the night. I e repurchase these twice already. Would recommend.

Great value and seems to work!
I have spent thousands on dental device from the professional dentists trying to find something that stops me from clenching. They were all the thing that works 90 % of the time. So I shelled out the money. Only to have expensive devices I bit into and was damaging other teeth. While these plackers do not stop me from clenching they are not hard and not damaging my teeth. I wear right through even the strongest hard plastic pro models within a year that were suppose to be the answer and solve the problem. I had a full mouth piece that went around all my top teeth but it hurt all my bottom teeth and started causing nerve pain. The second was a front tooth glide type that your bottom teeth are supposed to slid off ( mine just dug a groove into it thus making it useless.) So was afraid that I would bite through this placker and choke. However, I wear it on my bottom teeth (it does sometimes feel uncomfortable between my teeth and the bottom lip and gum if it slides down.) and I also have learned to do face massage and moving my jaw to loosen it up before bed a few times a week and have had great success with this product. I am also managing chronic pain better. I get about a week or two use by rinsing every morning ( depending upon how much I clench) I dodent the teeth guards but have not punctured or bit through one yet. They have never came out of my mouth at night nor have they choked me either! They stay where I place them ( i do have a small mouth). My teeth are definitely less sore than when I dont use anything or with one of the professional guards. I have been using these plackers a couple months now. I will purchase again. I purchased some other devices but so far since this has been working I havent even bothered to try the others. ( it is so nice to find something that is helping for now) My doctors advice if you clench you cant rely just on the device to solve the problem, utilize massage stretching to reduce clenching PT or youtube videos may help. Stress can play a part in clenching and too many doctors focus on this aspect only, when it can also be caused by chronic pain anywhere in the body ( causing physical stress), joint dysfunction of the jaw, teeth alignment and connective tissue disorders, as well as some neck and muscle issues. So getting to the bottom of your clenching is important especially if you do not feel stress is the only reason. Also Chronic pain anywhere in the body can cause fight or flight body response and clenching is one aspect of that response, so finding ways to help your body not feel in danger/pain can have great impact on your clenching. Hope this helps!

Very nice and comfortable
The only reason for four stars is because it tends to ride a little bit high or low depending on if you’re using it for upper or lower tends to ride up against the gums a little bit it’s just slightly uncomfortable at first, but you get used to it, but these were recommended by a TMJ physical therapist And I really like them. They’re very comfortable very easy to use and they’re durable and they’re not too bulky like some other others.

Affordable, comfortable, and they work!
I have tried so many of the guards you have to heat and shape and none of them work. Faced with another expensive night guard from the dentist, I tried these because there is no shaping involved. They were comfortable from the first night, plenty of cushion and no teeth hitting teeth. I’ve read some reviews from people who thought they didn’t fit, but they fit me perfectly. I’m pretty sure I have an average size mouth, if anything, maybe slightly small. I know I won’t be going back to expensive night guards. And I clean these with Listerine and use one over and over, so the package will last a really long time. I’m so pleased I found an affordable, comfortable solution. Will definitely buy again and again.

EVA which leaches microplastics into our bodies: My experience.
Made from EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate): First morning after use, my teeth felt better from not banging together, YAY!!! But, by esophagus really hurt. So, my teeth had been in pain....ahhh the relief......and so; Night 2, used this disposable night guard again and same thing, except my teeth felt even better and my esophagus felt even worse. The pain in my esophagus went on all day into the evening and persists even now. So let's have a looksie at what Googlie Goo says about the materials used in this night guard, shall we? And, to be fair, I will follow it with a remedy to clean out the plastic from the use of EVA in our mouths and beyond (in my case, esophagus), which are their own little aquatic ecosystem: From Googlie Goo..... Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) is a versatile, rubber-like polymer used in foam products, footwear, and packaging that breaks down into microplastics, persisting in landfills and marine environments. It is a significant source of fragment-based microplastic pollution in aquatic ecosystems and has been detected in studies of human blood. imagine that! Flip flop materials used to make a night guard. Incredulous! Really, who does that? And the remedy: Anti-Plastics Tea: Equal parts Lemon Balm, Fenugreek, Mullein Leaf, and Olive Leaf. Cited from page 243 of Revised and Expanded Medical Medium book. medicalmedium.com Healing Teas has each of these herbs in tea form individually; and, Mountainroseherbs.com has all these herbs as well. Yes, if you have not heard of medical medium yet, well, now you have. His name is Anthony William. Be sure to ignore all smear campaigns against him made by people who wanted to use him to make money on expensive seminars and retreats he refused to do. Everything he does is free. He used to, in the old days, drive his books around and give them to the libraries for free. He helps with so many things, including helping us rid ourselves of plastics. Thank God. And no, I have not yet gathered the ingredients but I am about to walk into my kitchen right now and do so, thank you. I understand the struggle is real. If this EVA night guard is all you can afford, at least drink the anti plastics tea. Part 2 of remedy: If you are going to your dentist to have a night guard made, if they say it is made of soft material, check if it’s EVA. You may have to go to a different dentist who uses a lab like Ziemiek Laboratories that makes Milled clear splint Acrylic night guards that are biocompatible. I simply phoned and asked my dentist: “What is the name of the lab you are using? Can you spell that for me please?” Then, phoned the lab. You may have to phone at a different time of day or different day if you get an unhelpful person. Dentistry is an art form more than anything. I would wonder if it is a martial art form to be sure. Waking up with a painful esophagus has been really eye opening as to just how true that statement is.

I bought these as I had been recommended by the dentist and physio to get something to help with teeth clenching at night. I didn't like the idea of having a massive gum shield in my mouth at night. These are really slimline, and although I am aware of it in my mouth during the night it was comfortable. My only concerned on environmental aspect, is that you have to have a new one every three days. And if I need to wear one long term I may look into getting something more permanent.

After spending a long time, researching mouthguards on Amazon, I chose 2 styles , these ones and a hard plastic one that you have to dip in boiling water and then stick it in your mouth to mold it. I never even opened the other box as I wanted to try this brand first. When I took them out of the package, I thought they would be absolute garbage as they literally don’t even look like they would fit in an adults mouth. You can wear one mouthguard; One on the top or one on the bottom, or you can wear 2 mouthguards, I wear mine on the bottom, and they don’t move around, even though they look like they would fall out of your mouth. The Mouth guard sits on your back molars and surprisingly it doesn’t move around. I rarely spend the time to write a review, but this product warrants one! I have been wearing mouth guards for over 30 years. The most recent one I have cost $700 and it fits across my front six teeth and the back of it is built up so I can’t clench . I was going to get another one made up for my bottom teeth so I could have a mouth guard on the top and the bottom as my bottom teeth are starting to have wear spots from clenching into the top mouth guard. I was wondering why they never made a soft rubber mouthguard(or, whatever The material this mouthguard is made of, hope it’s not toxic😬) this way, when you clench, you clench into soft material, not hard plastic and your teeth don’t wear down. For me, this mouthguard feels like chewing gum when you clench you release It’s like your brain automatically tells you to release and not to hold the clenched position. I have worn this guard for 4 days and my jaw has virtually stopped CLUNKING when I open and close my mouth!! I know it says they’re disposable and only wear them for three days, but I soak mine and Polident to clean them, and I see no reason to throw them out after three days. So I will experiment on how long they last, I see no reason why you can’t wear them for one month or longer as long as you have great hygiene practices.

Product needed for prevention of teeth grinding at night, as was recommended by my dentist. I picked this product as the recommendations were quite positive. I am glad that I did as they are very easy to use. No moulding to worry about as they fit straight onto the teeth. Comfortable to wear. I do not find them uncomfortable or disruptive at night. They are to be used for 3 nights and another one used and so on. There are 16 in the package. However, I am sure that another couple of nights wouldn't be an issue if the item is kept clean. The only negative is that instead of 16 guards I only received 15 guards in one box. I know it is not a 3rd world problem but if it is a brand new item it should be intact. Happy with the actual product though.
